Ordered this sauce because I wanted to make my own king crab boil. I mainly wanted a dipping sauce, not a sauce to cook in or pour over. This sauce is great and delicious, I added onions as well. However the directions ask for a huge amount of butter and powder. This portion is understandable if your making over 2 pounds of food and your going to pour it over the meal, however, not nearly as needed if your only making your own 2 pound legs and want to just dip the meat. I would say half of not less is needed for dipping. I would recommend adding another set of cooking directions for making it as a dipping sauce only. Other than that the taste is great.

The media could not be loaded.  As a native of Louisiana, I think I'm qualified to say, this is by far one of the best seafood boils that I have ever tasted. It's super simple and a little goes a long way. I usually don't do reviews but this was definitely worth my time. Highly recommend stop wasting your time on other brands

When I first fried up the garlic, then the sauce mix, I was worried I burnt it. It tasted a bit odd by itself, with more bitterness than I would have liked, but when eaten with the seafood, it was perfect. It's delicious, and definitely worth a try.The instructions are silly. It has you make 5 sticks of butter worth at a time - I cut the recipe by 1/5 to start with (35 mL of sauce mix), and it was plenty for eating two lobster tails, and two Dungeness crabs, plus a little bit extra.I did not see any expiration information.It's also lacking manufacturer information.

THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!!You can tell whoever created this recipe has a family history of good cooking.My wife and I don’t always have the time to make seafood boil sauce from scratch, so I have been searching for an option that will still provide real flavor. My wife picked this product in hopes that it will be better than the other “disappointing options” available at the grocery stores. We found exactly what we have been searching for.I wonder what else they have coming out..

This packet was a great size for my family I was able to make two batches on separate occasions.
