At the time that I bought these, they were @ $51 for three, so about $17 per fixture. The brackets are made of somewhat thin metal and the threaded knobs that attach them are of middling quality - they work, but are not particularly sturdy. I did use a remote control once to see how it worked and it was fine, but I normally do not use one and I have not tried connecting them for DMX operation.I use the controls on the rear to set them to sequence through the seven light colors, fading from one to the next continuously, as simple stage lighting for live music. They work great for that, and retain the setting when unplugged so they come on doing the same thing without having to be adjusted.The lights come with a small instruction sheet, so small that it is difficult for me to read, but the information on it is accurate. It does not matter much unless you are going to try DMX or some other complex setting, because the operation is easy enough to figure out without instructions anyway.They are nice and bright, using them on stage with more expensive Chauvet LED lights they complement them nicely and are of similar brightness, at least to my eyes.The attached brackets do a fine job if you position them on the floor, you are able to shine them upwards at any angle. There is also a hole that you could use to mount them to a bar. If I were doing that, I might put a drop of Loctite on the threads that attach the lights to their brackets, so they would be less likely to vibrate loose over time.All in all, I would say these are totally usable lights at a very attractive price.

We use them for a big Halloween display. Great lights, can be rained on, easy installation.

These lights work really well and they're priced great. They get used at gigs almost every night and they've held up.

Seller implied under power source that these lights are battery operated with a lithium ION battery, furthera represents this by looking at a picture where it has a cord going into it and reflect this as a charge port. It's not, it's corded and you can not remove. The light is not battery operated. If you want a light that plugs in, this may work for you. Instructions are small tiny piece of paper.

I needed a quick cheap solution to test DMX outputs from a system I was building. These worked. not fantastic, but equal to the cost.
