Love it! Very sturdy, included pins. I loved how rustic it looked. My only wish is the there was a latch on the side to keep closed when wanted.

I'm up to my hips in shells and such that I've accumulated over the years. I wanted a unique way of displaying some of them and found these. They are well-made and the weathered texture is effective.The pins that come with are varied in color, but all harmonize. They go into the backing smoothly, but be aware the backing is thin and the pins stick out a bit on the front - take that into account when determining how to use them. The back of the box is a thin layer of plastic, so they won't poke out through to the back.The hanger on each one is attached on the back and designed for a relatively small-headed nail or hook so the box will lay flat against the wall when hung. Hinges are good, magnetic close ditto.Very happy with them.

While on a vacation to Florida a few weeks ago, we spent a day at the gulf, near Tampa. I found the loveliest treasure, a sand dollar broken into a heart shape, on it, tiny clam shells and barnacles had once made a home. It was exquisite to me and I loved it more than any expensive piece of fine art or jewelry. Somehow it survived the trip home in my back pack. It is now displayed on a wall in our bathroom, in this beautiful shadowbox frame. The weathered white painted frame compliments the sand dollar "heart" and other seashells that I glued to the back and set on the floor of the frame. I made the mistake of gluing my shells to the back of the frame before I realized that I was gluing them in place upside down. I had to buy a screw eye to screw to the top of the frame and that worked just fine to fix my mishap. The magnets on the door of the shadow box hold securely and my beautiful seashore memories are there on the wall to look at everyday. This frame is very pretty and can hold a lot of precious memories in its small size. I really recommend this frame. It's especially perfect for seashells!

Beautiful and easy to use. Delicate pins included. I used it to display a gift card. The magnet held it closed while empty. However, I filled it with candy and a gift card. The magnet wasn't sufficient to keep it closed. Great value, medium weight and very nice for displaying photos.

My project was an "Infinity Mirror" which required a frame with glass and depth making this shadowbox a perfect match. Cost was a big factor as I was experimenting and had no idea whether this would turn out.The shadowbox came exactly as described with a worn paint scheme, complete with a delightful magnetic latch for the front glass cover and a padded back. Push pins were included to facilitate mounting of displayed items in the shadow box. The back of the box included rings for wall hanging in two different orientations, but no desktop stand.The "Paint" is actually a very well-done vinyl applicate' over a lightweight wooden frame. The hinges on the front cover are secure and the latch works well. For my application I removed the backer all together to insert a mirror. Then I wedged in a wooden frame that permitted me to affix a glass plate sandwiched in between the front glass and rear mirror. On the inner wooden frame I mounted my LED strips, one above the insert glass and the other below.My initial thought was to paint the shadowbox black, but the vinyl covering repelled the acrylic paint that I tested. Later I will try an enamel to see if that sticks. This in no way demeans the shadowbox construction which is as described and is fairly good quality. Most certainly a great value for the cost.I cut the frame of the box on one side to permit wiring to come through and the frame remained sturdy even though I removed a slice that would ordinarily weaken most frames.The front glass is quite thin, but also well attached and sturdy and works very well for the intended use of the boxed frame. The lighter weight also makes the magnetic latch work well properly securing the front frame from coming loose while at the same time allowing items inside to be accessed and replaced.This was a great purchase at a very good price delivering good quality and value at this price point.

Arrived broken although box was sealed

The frame is stunning but the cover is plastic. Not glass. It looks dull. What a huge disappointment

Very disappointed.....paid enough fir this frame only to find out it has PLASTIC instead of Glass window Very Cheap made!!!!!!
