Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer Ready To Use 4 Litre

I bought this because it said it killed Brambles, and at first I thought it wasn't going to work, as after a couple of weeks only the tips seemed to die...but after about 6 weeks the brambles started to die, I will wait and see if they come back, but right now, I am very pleased with the results. I gave this only a 4 Star, because I would have liked it to be cheaper, as I am on a low income and have a huge garden....

Sprayer did not work at all. I mean nothing came out! I was not happy. I had it for a good few weeks before I used and found out it was faulty. I had to decant it to another sprayer. Yet to see results. Might change review in due course. But my advice would be to buy the concentrated version and not bother with the ready mixed.UpdateThe weedkiller itself was very effective. Killed all the weeds I sprayed on and around the a driveway, including brambles & thistles. As I said before I wouldn't recommend this version of it because the spraying unit did not work. But the Chemical itself did. However I am reviewing this product as a whole and I brought it this was for ease of use and in the end it wasn't easy to use, I had a largish area to spray and ended up using a small pump sprayer, which involved a lot of decanting and stop, starting. That's why I suggest buying the concentrated version and using your own sprayer.

It works but you will quite likely need to do it twice if you have lots of Weeds. Buy a spray applicator when ordering this because the one it comes with is a pile of poo, broke about five minutes after I opened the box.

If put on in sunny dry weather with rain 24 hours later or later. Then left to work. Don’t cut too soon after. Bang it’s definitely dead with no sign of re growth. I need more for another patch. This is the one I will reorder.

This I don’t think, is even SBK or it’s very watered down. It didn’t kill anything even after four treatments. Added to that, the spray was broken so I had to decant it into my sprayer. I did mention this to them and they gave me a few quid off.... but pointless as all the weeds and bramble didn’t die. I have bought four other spray SBK from amazon which worked within a couple of weeks after one treatment.I have only just got round to this review as my son died and for the last 18 months I haven’t felt like doing much.

Been having issues with bramble growth for years but didn't want to harm any other plant life. This took the brambles out within a week and left grass and perennials completely unscathed
