Daughter wanted to try as an option for her D of E expedition.Prep was OK but she found it a little difficult to mix fully.Taste was good.

Convenient, tasty and filling
This banana porridge is very tasty and it’s so easy to make with just hot water - it can even be made in the pouch (or on the stove, if you like making your life difficult).It says it serves one but it’s very filling and the pack contains 525 calories so I found it was a good size to share between two of us.If you go camping, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this super-convenient, tasty and filling breakfast.

Probably great if your on expeditions
For me this just wasn't to taste or budget. It's not horrible, it's just not enjoyable. It has a slightly sour taste and it's a bit stodgier than I prefer. The wait for the porridge is long and I can only imagine it would be even longer at altitude.I guess eating it in my kitchen isn't the fairest assessment of the product. So I've still given it four stars. I do go mountain climbing but haven't been for a couple of years now and can only imagine how lovely this would taste on top of a mountain. In my kitchen though - not for me.The price too is also aimed at long shelf life food for expeditions and not something affordable to eat at home.
