So I'm always a bit skeptical when products offer you the sky for the price of a fast food meal. That being said I decided to take a shot since the price was truly reasonable. I drive an older model Subaru (2010 Legacy) and the door courtesy light on the driver side was starting to fade fast.My order came quickly, professionally packaged and I was pretty satisfied with the build quality of the units. when most customers say that it is an easy install, they are not exaggerating. Do make sure that you have basic tools in order to remove the original units. I was able to use my smallest flat head screwdriver bit to loosen the clamp and once out, a simple click of the unit to the power supply and pushing it back in until it clicked home and I was done. The box contains two units so you have enough to replace the driver side and passenger side units on your vehicle.I opted for just the front doors and will probably stick with that, however if you want to go all out it's an inexpensive option to give your Subaru a little customization that will stand out in the parking lot. I've had mine installed for a few weeks now and they look nice, the image cast is bright and easy to make out. You won't be able to see this during daytime hours or the early evening, but once it starts to darken outside is when the show begins.My experience of course is mine alone (not a paid influencer here) and as with any item, I highly encourage you to do your own research and consider whether this is the right option for you. These are great. Nice & bright & crisp graphic. As others have said R is for the drivers side, L is for the pax side. Get them backwards and the graphics will be backwards.Need small flat blade screwdriver, rag and flashlight.To install, use a small flat blade screwdriver, cover the tip with a small rag and pop out the OEM light. It It will be on and will be hot. Press the tab and remove the wire plug. Pop on the new and pop into the hole in the door. Done.Build quality is okay. One of the units was in 2 pieces when I opened the box. It did pop together and looks fine. As you are plugging in the new unit use a flashlight to observe where the pins are in relationship to the holes in the socket. I had to bend the pins on both new lights so they would plug in. Once you have the first light done, don't push it in all the way in yet. Stand up and verify the graphics is correct and not backwards. Then pop it into the door. If you get the first one correct, the second one will be correct.

I purchased these almost 1 year ago. Easy install and they are still just as bright and clear as they were when I bought them. Nice secure fit. I get complements on how good they look.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clear and bright the logo was! Really sharp. Easy to install ( minutes), and fits well.

Thanks to those who reviewed these prior to my purchase! They were right! They are amazing!1) They are bright! So, they actually serve a purpose, unlike the factory puddle lights that my Outback came with.2) They are stylish but not in a cheesy aftermarket (Fast and Furious movie) kind of way.3) Every passenger that I have had in the evening/night has complimented them.Lastly, I drive a 2019 Outback and I only needed 2 for my drive and passenger doors. My back 2 doors don’t have puddle lights, so just get the 2 pack, not the 4 pack — unless you have 2 Subie’s and in that case, go with the 4 pack. :)

Very easy to install and lighted image is crisp. As others have noted the fit is loose which may cause rattles and the left/right markings are backwards- the “L” should go on the passenger side and “R” on the driver side or the logo will be upside down. Overall worth the price if they last for the long haul.

I randomly came across this product and at first it made me laugh. I thought to myself “how useless?” But after reading the description and seeing key words like “Ultra Bright” “High Definition” “Easy Installation” and “Plug and Play” I went outside to inspect my existing puddle lights. They were so dim it made them almost unnoticeable, truth be told they really served no purpose in their current state. So I decided to give these a shot because let’s be honest, there was no way they could be any worse than my OEM puddle lights. Plus, for the price (very affordable) I had to see the quality for myself. They arrived quick, like most products on Amazon do, packed very securely. The description couldn’t have been more true. Easy installation and truly plug and play. (Using a plastic trim tool) The old lights popped right out, the new wiring connection was snug and secure, the new lights popped right in. Easy is an understatement. There was just one MAJOR issue, I installed them during the day so I had to wait until nightfall to actually see the product work. Once it was dark enough outside to see if the product truly lived up to the hype in the description I made my way outside, in the back of my mind I was preparing myself for disappointment. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The image that was projected was nothing less than perfect. The focus was sharp, colors were true and man was it bright. I will be the first to admit this product is completely unnecessary and provides almost zero functionality but I wouldn’t change a thing. I love the glow of the Subaru logo every time I open my door. If you are looking to add a little personalization and character to your Subie or you are just itching for an affordable, simple mod… I recommend this product.

Took less than 2 minutes a door to install, very clear, and absolutely a sweet upgrade for the price. Installed on a 24 outback. Fit was spot on. Highly recommend
