The side I sleep on has a curl at the corner that always gets globbed up & I must use a dry brush to separate-BUT if I curl my lashes first, then this works great. **Q: Is it waterproof?** A: I would say its minor waterproof. Won't run if you cry or get splashed with water but would not hold up to swimming. I do not need makeup remover to get it off. I use baby shampoo (no tears) to wash my eyes in the shower, which is a good daily routine for your eyes anyway. It comes off in large pieces, it does not dissolve into liquid. **Q: I used this with an eye lash curler and it didn't keep the curl.
