Great quality tool
Good quality stainless blade, well packaged, good value and comfortable to use and produces good joints. If you clean after each use, there's no reason this wouldn't last for life.

Floppy for me
I bought this and it wasn't sturdy enough for what I needed. Quite floppy in the middle. Quite easy to handle, light weight. Good price

Wish i had bought one yrs ago
Brilliant . we are in the process of a big renovation job and this has been used for linning paper and wall paper. makes it so easy to get straight cut line.

Nice knife
I used it for skimming a wall with easifill. And paper taping some plasterboards. It's easy to work with, very sharp and flexible. I have to say if you don't have a strong wrist like me, it makes your wrist tired quickly. So I had to resort to trowel every now and then. But I don't blame the knife for that, it is a very wide knife and can load a lot of mud.

Badly packed and bad build quality
The quality control department in Stanley tools must have disappeared into thin air in last few years. Stanley used to be the most famous name in trade tools and diy equipment , but recently their products are terrible. This is the 5th Stanley branded item that I have been unhappy with recently. The most important part of this tool is the scraper blade and it's the lightest quality scraper blade I've ever used. It was packed with just bubble wrap , so it hadn't a hope of getting to me without being bent. Which it was. It is curved at both ends and leaves 2 lines on anything i try to skim.....no matter how I try to straighten it. Simply put , the blade should be twice as thick and the packaging around it should have been stronger....either hard cardboard or a plastic backer. I'll go back to buying the Ox brand from here on in.

Really good quality taper knife with some flexibility too
Comfortable to hold, good quality with the necessary amount of flexibility required. Did a great job with scraping some artex off the ceiling with this and finished with a light sand over.
