A: larger than the average bath towel more like a bath sheet- brilliant towels

A: The weight of a towel is measured by the GSM (Grams per Square Metre). Low GSM (300-400) towels are light and thin whilst high GSM (450-600) towels are thicker and heavier. A towel that weighs less than 400 GSM is likely to be thin and typically suitable for a gym bag or trips to the beach.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality towels
*by O***R on 24 May 2026*

Excellent value towels . Good size and looks like a quality towel .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice at first but didn't last quite as long as I had hoped
*by D***E on 7 October 2021*

The good: These towels are exceptionally thick and soft when new. They are super absorbant and just really lovely, thick, cozy large towels. They stayed that way after washing as well, for a time. The bad: After about two years of moderate use (I have no idea how long towels usually last but I have other towels that are still nice that are MUCH older), they really started to fall apart. Every time they go through my dryer, the lint catch is beyond full, and there are huge clumps of lint floating around in with the towels, as well. And it shows in the towels, as they are quickly becoming thin and not nearly what they were just a few months ago. So I would say we got a good two years out of them, and then when they started to "age" with use, they rapidly declined, over a period of just a few weeks. The price is okay, but I would rather not be replacing my towels every two years, so I am not sure if I would recommend them. I would say they would be great for beach/swimming towels that see only occasional use, but not for regular/daily use.
