Arriving just in time for a heatwave, I am finding this cool and comfortable to wear. I was delighted to find the chinstrap is easily removed, and easily added back on if wanted. The broad brim at the front is stiff so it holds its shape and does not flap in my face, and shades my eyes and face well. The back part of the brim, like the crown, is made of soft cotton fabric, and gives good neck protection. The decorative tie cord around the crown functions as a drawstring to tighten the fit if needed. I do have a large-ish head, this hat fits perfectly. It folds flat for packing, but I have to be careful not to crease the brim. This was definitely a great buy. I may have thought it a bit pricey at the point of purchase, but I certainly don’t now!

I wasn't sure what to expect as I was going by other reviews when I purchased this hat. Firstly its well made and a lovely colour. The front part is shaped so will give your face good cover. The back is soft and so will be great even when sitting down. I ordered a Small and it fits perfectly. It's also lovely because it has a detachable chin strap which will be great when windy or indeed if you want it off to go into a shop or café. I'm very happy with it.

Nice hat and material, has a slight shimmer to it.The adjustable headband is a great feature and is very useful, however this one could be better as it tends to ease bigger while you wear it, so will need adjustments during the day.It does crease up a bit when flooded, but is completely wearable after, and it doesn’t damage it in any way, as it’s just a soft fabric.

This may be more sensible and healthy than glamorous!It provides excellent shade for the face/eyes and protection to the neck.It is quite stiff and so will not pack flat but it will fit into most bags and probably pockets. Its weight is negligible.It is washable, but never looks quite as nice as it did when new!

This didn’t breathe very well, so just made me hotter. I needed the sun protection, but not great for walking about as you’ll expire.

Hat tick the boxes, it's wide brimmed, lightweight and easy to pack and good value for money.

If youre like me with a small head, this neat little hat fits perfectly and with its adjustable drawstring and chinstrap, Im never going to struggle with keeping my hat on my head again - for that alone its worth its weight in gold! The fabric is lightweight, washable and the items well stitched and put together, the design covers both face and neck - a must for protection from the damaging sun. All in all, this is a super little hat for the money.

I am very pleased with this hat ,its very comfortable and the back of it keeps the sun off my neck. I can also put my hair through the opening at the back.It is also possible to to adjust the size to fit better if needed.

Hat was too large and can’t imagine anyone having head that large ,, gave to thrift shop

The hat is cute, and seems fairly well built for the price. It came with material to make the hat smaller as needed. Unfortunately, I was unable to use it as it is too small for me, even at the largest settings.I had not experienced this before with hats, though I honestly don't shop for them very often. In any case, if you have a larger head or lots of hair, this hat may not be for you because of its size.

Very cute hat, can fold the brim up or pull it down for maximum sun coverage. Really love the bow in the back, and how adjustable it was. I have a big head and most hats are too tight, so this was an awesome find at a great price. The exterior is a linen-like fabric, breathable but gets some wrinkles in it, I found that they smoothed out nicely over my big head. A pass with a steam wand would work too, but that's a consideration as far as it being packable. Highly recommend, I just wish they made them in more bright colors and prints! But the available light colors were all very suitable for hot, sunny weather too.

the size on this hat is perfect. Love the color says yellow but picture is more subtle light yellow (straw) which I was hoping for.
