Saves from using Disposable plastic bags
These are perfect, I hated wasting a new plastic bag everyday, so looked for a more environmentally responsible alterative. These sometimes don't fit certain shape bread, so you have to squash the sandwich in a little bit, so they could do with being slightly bigger, but they have served their purpose perfectly. We've had these for over a year and they are still perfect. Handy that they go in the dishwasher too.

The bee's knee's of storage boxes.
The bee's knee's of storage boxes. In my opinion, the best storage boxes that can be bought. Robust, stackable, easy to clean and they last for ages. I will, no doubt, be buying more.

Good for freezer storage but difficult to dry after washing.
Good for freezer storage, I use them for salmon, sausages, beef burgers. pork steaks etc, as well as storing individual portions of savoury mince etc that I prepare in advance. I also use them to store what remains of items such as tinned sweet corn that I use in salads. In fact the only thing I have not used them for is sandwiches! They are very easy to clean, they do not retain the red staining that you get with some containers when storing items such as pasta sauce or baked beans. My only complaint is how difficult it is to get into all the grooves to ensure the containers are completely dry. As someone who taught about food hygiene I know that water that is left to become stale in cracks and grooves of food containers can lead to bacterial growth. However my tip is to microwave the container for 5-10 minutes and it appears to eradicate these small areas of water.

Not microwave proof.
I microwaved just the base with some fish fillets in it and it cracked/split along most of the diagonal.

Great for dry food. Not for soup!
Brought these for work so instead of paying £25-£40 of fast food every week, i'd just be spending about £5 for a week on bread and stuff to go inside the sandwich and snacks. This sandwich boxes has saved me a lot of money already. The box is slightly too small for the bread I usually get (Kingsmill Thick Soft White) however its not by much so my sandwich is only squashed a little bit when I put it in there, which is not a problem at all.Washing this up is easy except sometimes water can get stuck behind the blue seal so I have to carefully pry it out with a knife, wipe it and the inside then put it back in. Drying with a tea towel can be annoying due to the small gaps around the edge, so it is easier just to let it dry on its own.I would not put soup or any other liquid in the box as it will leak out.

Perfect for storing 125 mm grinder cutting discs and sanding discs.
I could not find suitable storage containers for 125 mm cutting discs and wood saw blades for my grinder. I also needed something to hold a selection of 125 mm sanding discs for my random orbital sander. These can be easily thrown in the tool box or bag with the tools and take up minimal space. This doubles up as protection for both my tools and the discs. One has ended up being used for accessories for my Bosch rotary tool. Easy to quickly visually check contents and top up if required.I can see me purchasing more from the Sistema KLIP IT range for garage and shed storage solutions to protect both tools and consumables from the damp air. We live in NI. How do we know summer is here? The rain gets warmer!(I prefer these Sistema clips to the usual Tesco or Asda ones. I find the Asda ones fall off too easily. Tesco ones seem to last well enough.)

Not as dishwasher safe, as I expected
We bought 2 sets of these, and the first one I stuck in the top rack of the dishwasher ended up with a weird pattern surfacing on the smooth surface. I thought it was just a weird random occusrence so I put another one the following day, and the same thing happened. After that I have just decided to hand wash them whenever they are used. They are great for their purpose and fit the largest thickness breads for sandwiches, as well as the larger sized loafs. I've also used it to store some leftovers, and it works great in the microwave. The little clips on the side are incredibly handy to hold onto after the mic is done. The rest of the product is incredibly hot to touch, but I hold the blue bits to help take it out of the microwave and don't burn my fingers!
