Bleach: Complete Series 6 [DVD]

Moto kudasai!
This series 6 of Bleach is the beginning of the Arrancar arc.Aizen is sending stronger hollows down from Hueco Mundo, named Arrancar. After Chad and Orihime are defeated by them, and Ichigo barely saves the day, a few soul reapers are being stationed in the Human world. Among which, one of my favourites, Toshiro Hitsugaya. In the mean time Ichigo is being approached by a guy named Shinji, who also has a hollow mask like Ichigo's.He is a member of a group called the Visoreds, who want Ichigo to join them, so he can learn to control his inner hollow.Chad, Uryu and Orihime all get trained to become stronger as well.Orihime then gets "kidnapped" by Aizen, and the gang decides to rescue her. They are joined by Rukia, who finally gets her reaper powers back. Will Ichigo eventually learn to control his inner hollow? How many Arrancars are there? What is Aizen plotting, and why did the peaceful Tosen join him? Will Kenpachi be in the next episodes, since both Arrancars and Visoreds are formidable opponents. This is one of the better arcs of the serie Bleach (if not the best). Unfortunately (or fortunately, cause it means the arc is far from over)The rest of the episodes are on the next box set. Which will hopefully be released soon.If you want to watch this boxset, please note that Bleach is a series. It is best to watch it from episode 1, otherwise some parts can be a bit hard to follow.

I'll get stronger, I will get stronger ......
And season 6 bring's us back on track. following on from the 'Bount' arc our Hero's have returned to school and there normal lives but yes, you guessed it, something wicked this way comes and it packs one hell of a punch. This is the season that will see our hero's start down the road adulthood, they will be making difficult choices and realising that thing's aren't always going to be ok. The power of friendship is a wonderful thing but what do you do when it's just not enough? Our Hero's will find themselves making difficult choices about there own live's and what they want/need. They will all be dealing with there own issue's, fear's, insecurity's and doubt's and it wont always be in the best way.We get to meet some great villain's in this series, they each have there own backstories which were surprisingly interesting and I enjoyed them quite a bit. I'd love to have known a little more about a few of them but there's only so much you can fit into a series/episode.When I first watched this, I had no idea just what a prelude to the emotional rollercoaster I was going to be on, it would be.All in al a great start to a brilliant arc.

The biggining of the best part of the series
Following the Bount arc, Aizen finally makes his move in the longest and by far the best arc in the series. Following from their recent battle in the soul society, Ichigo and his friends come up against a powerful new enemy, the Arrancars, who are in league with Aizen. First battle with the Arrancars (where we finally see Rukia's zanpakutÅ power), ichigo narrowly escapes death at the hands of the Arrancar Grimmgow, and seeks help from a group known as Viserds (a group of exiled soul reapers who have an inner hollow like hime) where he does battle inside his soul with his Hollow. All and all, everything in Bleach so far has been building up to this moment. For those who have been put of from the Bleach Anime by the Bount arc, this swings things back on track, with some farmilier faces, some sup prises, and a group of some of the best antagonists ever.

Good series. Do your homework about storyline/story arc before you buy.
Good series. Have been skipping the ones that have reviews that say they're essentially fillers or tangents from the proper Bleach story arc. However, even so, much as our family likes this series, it takes soooooo long for resolution. So, my advice is buy the series that are clearly following the primary arc, and research them all fully before buying to make sure you don't end up with a series that takes you on a strange, possibly unwelcome, tangent.

Simply amazing. One of the best so far.
As a Bleach fan who waits for the complete series box sets to come out rather than buying the individual part releases. I waited a fairly long time for this and I wasn't disappointed. The animation quality seems to be a lot sharper than in previous series and the story seems to flow very nicely from one episode to the next. This box brings the story back to its original setting in the manga, but instead of dropping the characters introduced in the previous 2 series that were not based on the manga, they still get some screen time and have some relevance to the story. I love this series of Bleach and I can't wait to purchase series 7 in the near future!

Great series
This arc picks up from where Soul Society left off, Ichigo is back home and has new troubles to deal with. This is merely the beginning of a long arc, so unless you can appreciate the battles and distinctive personalities, then it may be worth holding off from this series for a long time. There will be many moments where you will let a reaction out thanks to Kubo's ability to utilise drama well in his series. There are even instances of comedy between characters that interact.Great series, great animation, character art, everything. One of the best anime out there.

Welcome move away from the Bounts
I love Bleach (even the Bount arch to a extent!). Its one of my guilty pleasures. Im not going into spoilers so all I can really say is that this box set is fairly standard to the rest of the box sets. The one thing I would say (and this relates more to series 5) keep an eye on the number of episodes included in the box set, it is the complete series, but have noticed that some series have fewer episodes than others which has led to some disappointment when I've sat down to watch them

The series continues where it left off. I just ...
The series continues where it left off. I just have a feeling that the intros and extros to each episode gets longer and longer and the episode itself seems really short :(
