I spent over a week looking over various different bag options for my MacBook Pro. I went to several local outlet shops, big box retailers, luggage stores, websites, you name it. In every instance, the cases I found had INADEQUATE or NO protection for the computer I was to place inside. I frequently found cases that didn't protect against outside intrusions or impact, or they didn't protect against INTERNAL objects. Sometimes the case design itself would have spots that would rub against the MacBook, like a velcro strap that would supposedly secure the computer in place, but could just as well create wear marks on the machine. It was ridiculous and frustrating. It didn't help that none of the local places had Brenthaven products that I could evaluate for myself.My only experience with Brenthaven were two cases I had purchased ages ago for 17" MacBook Pros I had. I'm still mad at Apple for getting rid of the 17" form factor.So, remembering the high quality of those cases, despite the fact I couldn't evaluate one of their current offerings before I bought it, I took a chance and ordered this one through Amazon. That turned out to be the best decision I could have made.The case has FANTASTIC protection for the MacBook Pro. It is soft and cushioned inside and it completely surrounds the entire computer. There are no velcro straps, no flaps, no adjacent pockets for pens, tools, papers... ANYTHING that could come in contact with the machine. The area for the computer is completely isolated and the padding is carefully engineered so that no seams or zippers or anything that could potentially mar the finish of the computer can come into contact with it. In short... perfect protection.As for additional storage, there are plenty of places to store all the things you might need to bring with you. My case currently contains a 12.9" iPad Pro with full protective case, a Logitech K811 Bluetooth Keyboard, iPad and MacBook Pro power adapters, Koss PortaPro KTC headphones, Apple Pencil, Red and Black notebook, large RavPower USB battery pack, small bottle of screen cleaner and microfiber wipes, a regular pen and mechanical pencil, and several USB cables and dongles. None of the contents have any risk of coming into contact with the computer while in the case.So, in short, if you want the absolute best protection for your 15" MacBook Pro, this is it, this is the gold standard. No other briefcase comes close to the protection this case provides.

I used to have an Incase laptop bag for my 13" Macbook Pro. When I upgraded to a 16", the Incase wasn't on-sale anymore and so I spent days researching new briefcases. I chose this one and I am very happy with it. There is more storage than I will ever need. It is pretty well constructed and easy to carry. It would be nice if there was a little more padding..... but I would say that about almost every case on the market. This is a great case and I feel it is worth the price given comparable products. Not to overstate it.... but my 16" Macbook fits great! Not too snug, not loose. Great bag for this computer.

I was hesitant to make this purchase, but after reading all positive reviews I decided to make this purchase. I am very happy with this laptop bag, it looks professional and has many pockets to put all of my personal items. I love the fact that the front has a tablet pocket, I put my iPad on here and it is always safe and easy to reach. This pocket has a unique magnet that closes the pocket, really cool! I love the small front pocket too, I put my ID badge for work in here and its easy to grab, although you can use it for about anything, many people put there phones in the front pocket as I've seen in previous reviews. Overall very satisfied with this briefcase and highly recommend!

I like it but it always tips over when on the floor

I have owned this Brenthaven computer case for six months. I use it to take my computer together with assorted books and papers to and from university. I recently used it as my larger carry-on on a European trip. In both uses the variety of pockets and compartments of different sizes keep me organized. In itself the case is not bulky, but it can comfortably hold lots of stuff. I am very satisfied.

Great case for my Mac book pro. Plenty of room for my needs. The only small drawback would be on the handle, it should have Velcro to hold the two handles together. I looked at many cases, even leather and purchased this case. I put two external drives in it, cords, battery, notebook and writing utensils. There is adequate padding for my beloved Mac book. There is room also for I pad, I phones, etc. I purchased the deluxe, there is also a different one for 20 bucks less....good case, not bulky!!

I have room for a 15 inch MacBook Pro, chargers, connections, iPad, etc. 35mm digital camera body, 55, 105, & 300 lenses with backup batteries, file space, writing materials, all securely handled over the last 5,000 miles this Summer! Best combination of space and organization I've owned.

This fits everything & more!

Replaced an old version of same bag, very much same as before with slight improvements. Used last one almost every day for 8 years, so here's hoping.
