Had it assembled in an hour , no instructions in the box.Look at the picture , it's reasonably self explanatory.It's only the 10mm thick Mdf boards that sit loosely in place.I drilled and fixed the edges of the boards to the frame with self tapping screws , for more sturdiness.Much better now.

Certainly not heavy duty. MDF top is thin and flimsy, not fixed down in anyway and so floats around loosely. No way of fixing it either. The unit itself wobbles around because it has no bracing and the struts are light gauge. Even screwing to a wall doesn’t stop it from racking around. Missing paint, poor fit with holes misaligned on one leg means shelves don’t even fit properly. To add insult to injury, each MDF shelf was also damaged because of poor packing.If it wasn’t for the fact it is to be stuck in a corner of a garage, not seen, and used for light storage only, totally unsuitable as a workbench. I’d send it back.. but too much effort having opened a big package. Delivery took nearly 2 weeks too. All-in-all I recommend that you avoid.

Assembly of this bench is very simple, once you get hang of how the legs and their cross members slot together. Once it assembled the framework of the bench is really solid. It is good to have the MDF surfaces, these are just dropped into place. I will see how it goes, but I may apply some screws to hold the MDF in place.

The wood across the top of the bench could be a little bit more substantial, but as the items was a reasonable price it wouldn't cost much to put something over it

After strengthening the bench it s now satisfactory for the purpose that I purchased it for. I useit as an additional garage bench for light work.

This s idiot proof because I built it quickly and it is a great product and at a fantastic price. Delivered very quickly as well.
