I like everything about this product!

Been a month since this purchase, used 13 times and we LOVE this little popper. We've tried avocado, coconut and olive oils including all the Pompeian brands - and Amish Country and Wabash Valley.Here's the catch, we don't use ANY BUTTER. We just want a buttery flavor FROM the oil. From here the trick is to heat the oil for about two minutes before adding the kernels, turn the heat off for another minute and baste the oil and kernels for a minute with a brush to coat the kernels thoroughly for buttery tasteFrom all the various oils we tried Pompeian Bold is the winner, followed by Pompeian Robust - just bear in mind that we don't use any butter.Also, we use about 1&3/4 scoops of kernels and 2&1/3 scoops of oil to assure that the kernels are thoroughly coated before they start popping :-)

I wanted to like this popper but I get better results and bigger popped kernels using a pot on my gas stove. My biggest complaint is it is too difficult to clean. You cannot wet the base so you have to wipe it with a damp cloth with no soap. The problem is the rim collects bits & pieces of popped corn as well as cooking oil and it is difficult to get it clean without rinsing it out with soapy water. As a kid in the 50s, we had a metal electric popper with a detachable rounded-bottom kettle and a thick glass lid. No need for Teflon coatings, all you had to do was scrub the kettle in dishwater! So, for me, it's just "Meh!"

this popcorn maker works great for 2 people its smaller and compact it was very easy to set up and use!!!

Small family style popcorn popper. Easy to use and clean. Kids love to watch the popcorn being popped as they can see through the clear lid. I love I can control the amount of salt and butter I can put in the popcorn rather than the premade packaged ones. Love it!

Like it is small. Dislike: takes forever to pop, doesn't get hot enough to pop the kernels, maybe good enough for one person not for family use.

This worked outstandingly from the start!I made sure the stirring rod was on tight, put 1 tablespoon (comes with it) of canola oil (withstands high heat without burning), swished it around to coat, and waited about a minute to preheat it.Then I added 1 1/2 scoops (comes with it) of popcorn.I listened for the kernels to stop popping, added the top lid (comes with it), flipped it upside down) and poured it into a SEPARATE BOWL before adding melted butter and salt or popcorn salt.I NEVER ADD BUTTER OR SALT TO THE POPPER ITSELF because any residue will burn (no matter how much I wipe it clean) the next time I use it.

Love the popcorn that comes out of this. However, it began to leak oil from the cord entrance in just a few months. Disappointed
