I own a custom automotive shop, and I've used these 12V continuous duty solenoids on multiple custom builds with excellent results. I primarily use them to power high-amp electric cooling fans, especially on LS and Coyote swaps. I've also used them to power electric A/C compressors without any issues. In my experience, even quality Bosch-style 4-pin relays can eventually fail when they're exposed to constant under-hood heat in the Texas summer. These continuous duty solenoids have proven to be a much more reliable option for high-current accessories that see long run times. If you're running A/C fan controls, I highly recommend pairing the solenoid with a 3-wire diode. It keeps the circuit working correctly and prevents unwanted feedback, while allowing the solenoid to run cool even during extended operation. The build quality has been excellent, they're simple to wire, and they've been dependable across several customer builds. If you need a heavy-duty relay solution for electric fans, electric A/C compressors, or other high-current loads, these are a great choice and have earned a permanent place in my shop.

Misrepresented as a continuous duty solenoid. NOT AS ADVERTISED. This is NOT a continuous duty solenoid. I ordered 3 of these for a robotics project as a battery contactor. The project was delayed and when it was restarted it was beyond the warranty phase so I couldn't return them. I opened the boxes only to find each one labeled with a sticker stating. "This solenoid is a STARTER solenoid. CONTINUOUS WORK IS 5 MINUTES. MUST COOL DOWN. If long work no stop will be HOT and cause short-circuit or fire."

Sturdy casing won’t melt like the oem plastic casing on my zero turn.
