These worked great! My containers were passed down from my grandmother and were over 50 years old. The original seals were hard as rock and sealed ok but not great. These new ones fit the lids perfect and make a positive seal every time. Plus being silicon they will last for many years to come.

The old white rubber gaskets on my flip lid jars had gotten cracked and, quite frankly, gross. These fit well and sealed well also. They are slightly thicker than the rubber ones they replaced but that could be because the rubber ones were hard and dried out. These are much better quality than what the jars came with.I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on a candy jar lid that has an opaque seal that just didn't fit snug and allowed moisture inside. I slipped one of these gaskets over that seal (it wasn't removable unless cut off) and wah-lah the lid is now snug but still goes off and on easily!I would definitely purchase again but don't think I will need to unless I buy more jars as these are good quality and will last quite well.

I'm hoping that these silicon lids last longer than my rubber ones. They appear to seat well, are sized correctly, and the seal appears to be airtight. These will work as a replacement for the rubber lid seals.

I have older mason jar-style canisters and the orange rubber seals are hard and cracked. I ordered these and they work great. It has given my canisters new life.
