Nice brake controller for the price. After about 10 months of use, maybe 4000 miles of trailering, the unit displayed an error. After verifying the wiring was not the issue and testing the unit in another vehicle, it was determine the unit was defective. Contacted Customer Service and explained the situation. Show them a video of the issue on the display. Within a few days I had the replacement unit at my door. Plugged it in to the truck and works perfectly. Sometimes electrical components go bad for no reason. The company selling the unit is not at fault with the defective product. The point is, the seller replaced the defective unit under warranty.
