Bosch25x Expert Hardwood 2-Side Clean T308BF Jigsaw Blade (for Plastic Coated Boards, Multiplex Board, Length 117 mm, Professional Accessory Jigsaw)

I bought mine to cut two large sink holes into a formica top vanity. I didn't know how well they would work so I bought 2 packs. 1 blade lasted through both holes and still looks pretty much like new, so I probably have a lifetime supply. I believe this blade cuts on the down stroke so it leaves a much cleaner cut at the surface. This is especially important on formica and veneers or surfaced plywoods (that chip easily with a regular blade). It takes a firm downward pressure as the jigsaw wants to buck. While that doesn't square well with the review above, stating it pulls the work firmly to the plate, that's how it seemed to me.

These blades are top-notch and work well for us when cutting laminated plywood so that the laminate does not chip on the 'up-cut'.

Excellent blade for clean cuts in wood, plastics and laminates.I didn't know what the 'R' Stood for on this blade when I bought it, but later found out is means REVERSE TEETHBecause the teeth are reversed the blade cuts from the bottom up instead of the top down like a conventional jigsaw blade.This allows the blade to cut from the bottom and pull the material tight against the lower plate of the jigsaw making a cleaner cut with less chance of chipping.I used this blade to make clean cuts in wood paneling, laminate countertops and some PVC sheet plastic.High Quality Blade with great results

very good works for wood and long life

Had some 3cm decking boards that needed cut to make a temporary floor for my bin store. Couldn’t be bothered setting up my circular saw and given the tolerance needed, knew I could get away with using my jigsaw. Blades cut through the wood with zero problems, even when I hit knots.

I got these blades for some cuts into studwork which needed a bit more depth than felt comfortable with a standard blade. They're chunky and longer than I think you're ever going to need with a jigsaw, so well worth having in the toolbox if you have deep cuts which aren't really possible with a circular saw (and you don't have a band saw). Note that due to their size, you're not going to go around any corners, maybe a long gentle curve if you need it.
