Ich habe das Scian Otoscope Kit inzwischen ausgiebig getestet und nutze es hauptsächlich für meine Kinder. Ziel war es, nicht bei jeder Kleinigkeit direkt zum Arzt rennen zu müssen – und genau dafür ist dieses Otoskop sehr gut geeignet. Die Verarbeitung ist solide, das Gerät ist leicht und liegt gut in der Hand. Das LED-Licht ist hell und gleichmäßig, sodass man den Gehörgang gut ausleuchten kann. Die 3-fache Vergrößerung reicht vollkommen aus, um einen guten Überblick zu bekommen, und mit den verschiedenen Speculum-Aufsätzen ist es sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene gut nutzbar. Wichtig ist natürlich, sich vorher ein wenig mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen. Wenn man weiß, worauf man achten muss, kann man den Zustand des Gehörgangs und auch das Trommelfell gut beurteilen. Für eine erste Einschätzung bei Ohrenschmerzen oder Verdacht auf Entzündung ist das Gerät wirklich hilfreich und gibt ein gutes Gefühl von Sicherheit. Natürlich ersetzt es keinen Arzt, aber als diagnostisches Hilfsmittel für zu Hause ist es absolut empfehlenswert. Für uns eine klare Erleichterung im Alltag – daher 5 Sterne.
