I was able to get these for a great price so I figured if they suckeit wouldn't be a big deal. I love that you get a lot of sizes to pick from. A few won't hold a vacuum seal which sucks but at least I bought a big pack. I still use the bad ones because I figured at least the items are more protected. Overall great product.

These bags make it easier to organize clothes for a trip. However, you do have to remember to keep the pump in the bag otherwise you will not be able to re-compress the bags on your return. The bags are reusable but after a couple of uses you can start to see the bags getting worn down. Also after a couple of uses, the bag loses suction and you can notice that the bags are not completely compressed. Overall good for a couple of uses/trips. Various sizes included are a plus!

I'm using these vacuum-seal bags for all our camp bedding that isn't a sleeping bag. The bags are thick plastic and the suction hole is mid-way down the bag. Each bag has a double zip-lock to provide a better seal.The vacuum pump easily took a queen size pillow that was about 10" thick and compacted it down to about 1" – see pics. For reference, I used the medium-sized bag for the pillow. The medium-sized bag also perfectly fit a folded 72"x96" soft blanket. In a small bag, I got 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths with room to spare. These 9 items used to take up a full tote but after compacting them down, I have room enough for 2 more blankets, 2 more towels, 2 more hand towels, and 2 more washcloths in that same tote.The pump screws right onto the bags, making it very easy to evacuate the air – no tedious fiddling around with it or trying to hold it together. Also, when you remove the pump, the vacuum seal holds fast even before the cap is screwed back on.The pump doesn't seem that sturdy but I accidentally dropped it on concrete twice and both times I was expecting to see it broken...but it held together and still worked.To make the job a bit quicker, after stuffing a bag and sealing the zip-locks, you can open the suction hole and use your hands to gently apply pressure to the bags to purge excess air before actually using the pump. It's quite a bit faster and your arm muscles will thank you.One tiny issue is that the bags are not marked for size (that I could see) so I had to unfold one bag after another until I found the right size – then, when refolding the unused bags, they didn't really follow the "lines" from the previous folds very well so I wasn't able to get them back to the small footprint they shipped in. To avoid this issue in the future, I marked the bags with an initial to denote the sizes and carefully refolded them so that my marks were still easily visible. You may want to do the same; I used T for tiny, S for small, M for medium, L for large, and J for jumbo.

These vacuum storage bags are fantastic! I purchased them to help organize my closet and create more space.The bags are very thick and durable. I was able to fit coats, sweaters, bedding, and other bulky items in them and suck out all the air using the hand vacuum pump that came with the set. The hand pump works great and allows you to really compress the bags down small. They can be stacked to save a ton of room.I also like that they have the double zipper seal to really lock in the vacuum. After over a month, none of the bags had let any air back in. Things stayed tightly compacted thanks to the strong seal and reliable hand vacuum pump for sucking out excess air.These are much better quality than cheaper brands I've tried in the past. The multi-color packs make it easy to quickly see what's in each bag too.For the low price, you get a lot of very large bags that can hold multiple big items and a hand pump that removes air efficiently. If you need to maximize closet space or neatly store off-season clothing or linens, I highly recommend this vacuum bag set! Extremely happy with this purchase!

The pump doesn't work so the bag is useless.

This works great for storing our clothes at our timeshare condo. No more hauling suitcases on flights or waiting at luggage carousel. We fly with carry ons and when we arrive we unpack our storage box. Our clothes are as fresh as when we packed them

First of all, order was delivered next day, on holiday, even with expected day of delivery being few days away. I also think that it's great value for the money.This is the first time I am using the vacuum storage bags. I have compressed two plastic boxes of items into one, great space saving. So easy to just put the vacuum cleaner hose, vacuum the air out and then just screw the lid on when done. This was as expected, plus the bags are quite strong plastic, and little clips that come with it, are very helpful at closing the zip-lock side.Storage bags are packaged in plastic bags according to size-5 packages in total. It would be very helpful to have them marked which size of storage bags are in which the plastic bag-I had to take all of them out and compare the sizes. I found that Jumbo bags were not very useful to me. I suppose if you have a large comforter or puffy blanket, it would make sense to use them, but I only used small, medium bags, and only one large. Large that was used for clothes, ended up heavy and also because of the size, I could not store it tidy in the plastic box as I did with the smaller bags. Minor annoyance. They are quite hard once the air is out, so you can't bend or fold them.The hand pump that came with it is pretty useless, so if you are travelling, it might be better to get more expensive set, with included electric pump.The directions do say that with time, there might be some air leakage. I will be checking.
