Cool light but does not work well hard-wired and does not retain settings.
We wanted this cool light for our stairway and loved the look and size. But we were hard-wiring it and despite what the description says, the light does NOT retain it's settings when it's turned off. We would have to turn it on at the light switch and grab the remote EVERY time to get the color and brightness how we wanted it. Too much of a PiTA to deal with, so we're returning.

Super bright but has a dimmer!
Works great for a newborns room for a light at night but be warned that it is bright at first. It was a little pricy but worth it to not worry about a baby hitting or breaking a lamp.
