AMAZON DO NOT SUPPORT PC PURCHASES
I purchased this business laptop PC as an Amazon guaranteed refurbished product. Less than 4 months after purchase, both USB ports became inaccessible. The Amazon Website directs users seeking support to contact the reseller SVX Online. I emailed SVX outlining my problem and received no response. In contacting Amazon Customer Support the only resolution they could offer was to return the product for a refund. This policy does not reflect the time and costs customers incur when initiating a replacement laptop purchase and use. I have paid many hours installing new software and applications so to lose all that work after less than 4 months use is a huge cost. I am going to seek a 3rd party repair for this laptop and send Amazon the bill.

Why was it 'renewed' in the first place?
Mine was only about 6 months old, returned twice with issues in the first month, mentioned that whilst doing the first diagnostic scan on the first problem (faulty touchpad) the 'genuine Dell software' used to diagnose flagged a graphics problem. When I mentioned it I was told they'd done the same scan and found no problems. After getting it back there was a persistent problem with certain graphics getting fuzzy areas and edges. This would have necessitated a third send back. I considered the graphics issue to be minor so it was kept in use. It has degraded since and so has the keyboard. The machine is used conservatively, maybe a couple of hours a day at most, virtually always on the power supply. The replaced keyboard is consistently getting buggy again. The touch pad is mega sensitive sometimes, unless the keyboard is used like a pianist the proximity to the touchpad causes major numbers of issues whilst typing. There is NO quick touchpad off function. You can do so via settings, long drill down every time it's needed, or turn off touchpad when my Logitech mouse is connected. But then it refuses to re-allow the touch pad if the mouse isn't plugged in so back to settings and turn it back on. Not very good Dell, as it's a massive & sensitive touchpad. The touch screen is wonderful and I keep falling back on using it even when the mouse/touchpad would be more appropriate but they aren't working. At least it's a fantastic, bright, high Res touch screen & great for watching video on.Don't waste your time going to dell site to see if any of the warranty or assistance 'from new' is available. They've totally washed their hands of the machine. So a £1000+, 6 month old dell is a total write off as far as they're concerned.Ok if you never have an issue with it but relying on the 'Renewers' for the warranty is another matter.BTW. Got a spare Power supply to leave at home, which is utilised every day, all well, no issues at all. Original 'genuine Dell' PSU supplied not so good. Nearly a year old and unwrapped from my laptop bag maybe once a week if needed has already split the cable to the laptop USBC side. Poor quality insulation. Other PSU, not OEM dell but badged is totally fine, no cable issues like 'winding internally' or splitting at ends. So buy a decent spare PSU you'll be needing one. Conclusion, next one won't be a Dell or renewed.

excellent price for the configuration and 4K screen
good configuration and 4K screen with good gamut for this price is very nice. Last but not least, I don't understand why using USB-C port for charging although it is the latest popular thing and I don't like it at all.
