This book is absolutely beautiful. The illustrations are stunning and really capture the magic of The Nutcracker story. The interactive music element makes it such a special reading experience and keeps children completely engaged from start to finish. The sound quality is excellent and the orchestral pieces are lovely for introducing children to classical music in a fun and accessible way. It feels very high quality and would make a wonderful Christmas gift or keepsake book. A perfect combination of storytelling, music and beautiful artwork. I highly recommend for little ones.

Beautiful book to introduce younger readers to the joy of ballet. My niece loved the musical element and pressing the button. It's about 10 seconds of music so just enough to engage without being overwhelming. The only annoying thing is reading it again and again. A useful introduction to the story before seeing it on stage. Lovely illustrations. A successful purchase and will look to buy others.

Beautiful book’s grandchildren love them all!

I really love these books and so do my children. We bought two at Christmas and they're still by the bed being frequently read and played with. The story is good and just the right length for bed time, the music is lovely and is a good introduction for both them and us, I wasn't brought up listening to classical music so simple introductions like this really appeal to me. The illustrations are beautiful and the book has a lovely quality feel to it. The buttons are a little hard to press but once my 3 year old got the hang of it he's been fine, he will also happily go to the back of the book at the end and press all the buttons to listen to the music again.

We have had lots of these books and this was a gift. Beautiful as always and ever better, it worked! We have had ones before (not from this seller) that haven’t worked. If you’re looking for a special gift, baby shower gift or birthday gift, then these books are truly special.

I bought this and some of the others in the series as gifts for nieces and nephews. Brilliant price on offer for £6. They all love books so I can’t wait to give them these beautifully crafted books. Each has a story and information about the music pieces at the back of the book. A brilliant, engaging way to expose children to classical music. The music is married up nicely to each page in the story. I would say this is for children 5+ as there is quite a lot of text and might not hold attention of younger children. My only criticism is the buttons could be a little tricky for younger children to press and it would be better if the music played for a bit longer

Wonderful book. Loved this so much so I bought two more. My granddaughter is intrigued by the music matching the story and has listened to it lots although we’re not allowed to play the music for the Mouse King because he’s bad!

We have three of these books for our children and have bought this one for a music loving disabled girl. The book is joyful. Excellent hardback quality with gorgeous illustration. Exerts of the music to match the story as you travel through the ballet. Captivating and well written. It is particularly lovely that there is a history of the composer at the end. A beautiful book.
