Don’t buy this thinking it a regular tape measure. It’s for diameter conversion. It does double as a tape measure on one side but that’s not its truly valued purpose. It’s for finding diameters of whatever you can wrap it around. I have the metric and standard version. A very handy tool. Our machine calibration is based off of the spool diameter. We have to put in the proper diameter to get proper tension. This tool is perfect for this.

So many things are metric now. I use this all the time in my shop.I keep it in my pocket watch pocket easy to use easy to read. Very handy.

To clear things up. This is a diameter tape in cm. Not a cm on one side and inch on the other. This is the confusion on many of the negative reviews saying inch units are way off. Ex. Wrap the tape around something with cm side up and measure the circumference. Say it reads the 22cm. Now flip the tape over and it will 7. That 7 means the diameter of that is 7cm. Now take the cm side again and measure the diameter of the same object you measured the circumference and you’ll see it measures 7 cm. Hope this clears up the negative reviews on the numbers on the backside

Very good quality, meets all the criteria

Unless you have the money to waste on a very expensive gag gift, do not buy this! An inch is not an inch but is 1-1/4 inch. Why would anyone waste money on something like this? Revised my rating on 12/12/2023): The manufacturer sent me another of the same tape measure, and it too was off on the inch measurement. The metric side is correct, and what I needed most, and the inch side is far enough off to be clearly wrong (no doubt about it). Users should know to use another measuring device for the inch measurement.

Whoa! Buyer be warned, I learned too late at a loss, accuracy is way off (see photos). Terribly inaccurate. FedEX and sometimes USPS have been billing my my accounts for inaccurate shipping rates, and now I know why. Worse, I ordered custom built arrows at a great expanse only to realize this morning they are too short... WAY TOO SHORT and if you're an archer, you understand the issue is problematic let alone very expensive mistake!

This is not a plain tape measure. At first glance, it does in fact look like a tape measure that has metric on one side and inches on the other. The inches side, is actually centimeters. When I first looked at it, I thought it was a tape measure and I bought the wrong thing, then I looked at the reviews and saw other people thought the same thing. I just didn't know what I was looking at, because I had looked at Imperial inches ones on youtube and expected something like that. This acutally works perfectly to the millimeter, and is very easy to estimate 0.1 of a millimeter. So happy I bought this and realized how it worked.
