Works Great to keep splinters and sawdust from the wood stove out of the rest of the house.
Only dislike is that I couldn't get the one with the little daisies in the corner like the one I grew up with. Works great even on new boots with deep treads. Makes a very satisfying sound while cleaning your shoes. Not absorbent at all so it won't get soggy. Very easy to clean simply by turning it over and shaking.

The best type of door mat
Having used this type of door mat for 30+ years I can say they are the only kind to buy. Even though they tear more quickly than I’d like, these work way better than any others for actually removing crud from your shoes, and gives a place for the crud to drop into. Then easy to periodically shake/rinse out. Wish they’d put some kind of rip stopping material on the bottom to make them tougher.

Slides constantly
First one of these rugs that wasn’t the brand name and it slides everywhere. Also noticed that on side is oval and the other side is square as if the cut a bigger rug in two. Buy the name brand kind. Better quality. Would not buy again

Warped
Love the idea of this, but it is warped, a tripping hazard. I thought it might flatten out after time on a covered porch and in the summer heat. Nope. Still warped on both long sides of the rectangle sort in the middle. Even tried 2 sided tape, that didn't work either.
