Works really well
At last something that cleans well, doesn't bend under force and is a large size. Enabled me to clean the aquarium glass of green algae in half the time compared to the other scrapers and magnets I have used. Would recommend.

Works well, easy to change blade, some may find it on the bulky side
Interpet algae scraper for cleaning fish tanks. Comes with two blades, one plastic, one metal, the metal being for more stubborn algae. The blades can be changed using a twisting motion to release the old blade, with the new blade slotting in using the same twisting motion This is fairly easy to master. The size of the unit holding the blades is fairly bulky as it contains a fish feeder (a sieve type arrangement for hand feeding fish). The handle has a good grip to it, great given you will be using this in wet areas so no slippage. It is not the longest length scraper with the total being 25cm. So may not suit very large tanks but will be perfect for most counter top tanks.Whilst bulky in design it does a good job and feels like a quality item which will last many years.I hope you found this review helpful.

Dreadful. Don't buy.
The metal scraper head was not flat, instead it was a bit wavy. About 10% of it actually contacted the glass of the tank to scrape algae. I tried the plastic head instead and it didn't scrape anything off. I wanted to love this, the handle was good and solid but the blades were totally rubbish and not fit for purpose.

Good scraper
This scraper tool is very handy for cleaning plastic or glass as it comes with both plastic and metal blades. It does a very good job to remove stubborn dirt etc without damage and is comfortable to hold. I do think that almost £17 is a bit pricey for a scraper but it is well made

Great
A great product that works well. The arm is easily extendable. Just twist to unlock, set the length and twist the opposite way to lock it again. The scraper section is replaceable as this is likely to wear out over time but so far cleaning a large tank has been a breeze. Great price too

Clean the inside of the tank easily
Anyone who owns an aquarium knows how difficult it can be to keep the inside of the glass clean. One of the best for stubborn algae is a sharp blade and the Interpet Twist & Click scraper fits that bill well. The tool comes with three different blades – a metal blade, a plastic blade, and a gravel scoop – along with a telescopic handle. To fit the blades, you twist them into place, making fitting them one of the easiest. They do just twist on and off. Care does need to be taken with the sharp blade though as this can be harder to fit and it is easy to cut yourself if not careful. Each blade does its job well and the inside of my tank hasn't looked that clean for ages. The telescopic handle makes it simple and easy to clean even deeper tanks.Recommended, but be careful swapping blades.

Not just for aquariums
Ok, I don't actually have an aquarium at the moment but I actually got this for our windows and it works perfectly. As you would expect from Interpet it's a quality item and well made. The interchangeable blades/heads which just twist and lock into place is a ingenious idea and works really well.I use it on our external windows for removing the stubborn dirt and moss that builds up around the edges and corners, it really does remove these perfectly. The stainless steel blade is not overly sharp so safe to handle and at the same time removes the most stubborn dirt. The plastic blade is not as tough but handles moss really easy.A great all round product.

Ideal for deep aquariums
This is a multi-product page and as such all reviews are bundled together. This review is for the extendable handle scraper, I can’t comment on other products on this page. The scraper is fairly well built and robust, it can be adjusted to fit most domestic sized aquariums. A simple twist to loosen and lock when in place is all that is needed. Changing the heads is also a simple matter of twisting and snapping into place. There are 2 scraper heads and a feeding head, which I didn’t have any real use for as the fish weren’t that interested in it and swam away when it was in with them – and I couldn’t be bothered to mess around waiting for them. The metal head was best for me as it was a clean flat edge that scrapped the glass clean in one or 2 passes. If you have a plastic aquarium, then the plastic head will have less of a scratch risk. The scraper worked well and I was pleased with the results, but a scraper isn’t the best thing on its own because all it really did was move the algae from the glass to the water and I was reliant on the filter to capture it. That isn’t a fault of the scraper, because that is what it is designed to do. I wasn’t going to continue with it, but I noticed that there was a foam pad option to go with this (shame it wasn’t included). I have now ordered the foam pads and these are a great addition to the handle. It still pushes algae into the water, but it also clings onto some of it, so there is less in the water. It doesn’t prevent the need to drain and clean the aquarium regularly, but it has extended the time between the need to do so – maybe it is time I upgraded my filtration system.
