I bought these because my newly acquired Bosch belt sander is really loud and I didn't think my ears would survive a couple of hours sanding down a kitchen work surface. They do a good job in moderating the noise although I find them a little tight. Not by any means impossible to wear, but I would have preferred something a touch more comfortable. However, having said that, they're well made and very inexpensive so it's maybe unreasonable to complain given the price.

The product is comfortable but cancels 50% of the background noise.Good to read and work but not so good for sleeping.

I wanted some ear defenders for the use with my wood working equipment in the garage. I brought these expecting them to be OK, however these are comfortable and have worked well reducing the noise while using the equipment. For the money they seem to be a good buy.

I suffer from Misophonia a Neurological disorder that leads to extreme negative reactions and feelings related to certain sounds usually leading to Migraine. I can't even sit next to my partner if she's chewing but finally these Noise Cancellation Headphones stop all the noise completely. I always sleep with earplugs as we back onto private flats that employ a team of gardners that always use a leaf blower that either wake me early in the morning or stop me sitting out in my garden with their noisy grass cutter, it'll be interesting to see how well they keep out the noise when the good weather comes.
