We moved into a beautiful two-story flat for a short-term 2 year let and quickly found out that our dog was terrified of our slippery wooden stairs. Searching for a solution that fit our aesthetic, would adhere to the wooden stairs, and would (hopefully) remove without damaging our stairs proved to be a bit of a challenge, but we settled on these... and now, 2 years later, have had such a great experience with these, I feel obligated to write a review. These looked good in our home, they fit the stairs, our dog felt more secure on the steps with these on (as did we!) and we and our family and friends ran up and down our stairs for 2 years, not once questioning whether these were secure. The installation was so easy, I was so impressed that they didn't budge at all under years of heavy walking. But the most impressive part is the removal... I was admittedly a bit unsure as to what condition the stairs would be when I removed the treads, but 20 minutes later, they were off without so much as a scuff mark. My wooden stairs look like nothing was ever on them! I would absolutely buy these again without a moment's hesitation if I'm ever looking for a short-term fix again, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

These are perfect for our stairs as we've removed the previous carpet and gone for these with sanded and painted stairs. Neatly packaged, arrived on time, and once unpacked literally peal off and stick on. We've had these on our stairs for a while now, still very sticky, not moved, are actually very comfortable to walk on, nice texture and look amazing!Also around Christmas time we have attached a bunch of lights using command sticky hooks/clips, which to me looks amazing.

Quality is fine but for safety reasons I needed to have them tacked down. I used upholstery tacks to make a feature... Wish there was a bigger variety of sizes as they weren't offered in the depth that I wanted, so I had to make-do 😪

I wanted something to prevent my dog slipping on the varnished wood. They are very easy to put on once you get the paper of the double sided sticky tape at the top of the semi-circle. I found it easier to pull it off slightly, pull the sticky from the paper, press it back down and then pull the rest of the paper off once there was a corner loose. They come with that double sided sticky tape and a strip on the area before the bend. I added another strip to be on the safe side because my stairs are steep. I love them.

I ordered these because I have a very old, narrow, open, wooden staircase that is also quite steep. On several occasions I have almost slipped, but a few weeks ago I was in a hurry to answer my phone and skidded down most of the stairs on my right heel then landed on my right hip at the foot of the stairs. Consequently, by the next day I had a massive bruise on my thigh. I have always been concerned about the dangers, but couldn’t think of a suitable solution, as most of this type of carpet is designed for stairs that are so much bigger than mine and my top step is even smaller than the rest. I’m so relieved that these not only fit perfectly, but I was able to attach them within 10 minutes. Despite having just one long strip of adhesive at the front and a small piece at the back, they don’t move at all and feel very safe. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

Even though I took measurments, I didn't realise how small they would be. I wish there was a deeper version to around 20cm. They also look slightly weird on my stairs as my stairs spiral at the top and bottom so some steps are bigger. I'm kinda getting used to it now. Sticky strips are strong enough so make sure you definitely decide where you want to place them before peeling off.

Very easy to fit and they have greatly improved my stairs to the basement. The dogs are no longer scared to use the steps. They stick well. there were a few spare too. Fell like they'll last a long time.I would have liked them to be a bit deeper (go further back on each step) but they're great for the price

These look really nice on my newly painted (albeit very old) stairs. Just to be on the safe side, I added some extra strips of strong double-sided carpet tape.Although I specifically ordered the 56 x 20 x 4 size, the ones I received measured 55 x 15.5 x 4. Looking through the questions/reviews, I am wondering if the 56 x 20 x 4 size actually exists (any more), as most people seem to receive the smaller size. I would have appreciated receiving the size I thought I was purchasing, but, having said that, they do look very smart in place.

Les escaliers sont maintenant bien protégés, et le design est élégant, s'intégrant parfaitement à mon intérieur. De plus, ce tapis apporte une sécurité supplémentaire en évitant les glissades. Je recommande vivement ce tapis d'escalier !
