This is perfect for the passenger of a motorcycle.In order to charge your phone. Installation is easy and can be placed where it's the most convenient to use. It has been through all kinds of weather and it functions just fine. Charges super fast and great value for what you spend.

I tried a couple of different USB/charging set-ops on my bike and have never been fully satisfied with them. The lid being the switch is awesome and it does a great job of keeping my phone charged while riding. It doesn't take up too much real estate on my handle bars. Install was a cinch (no instruction needed) and worked right out of the box. If I forced to find a fault or pick on something it would be the connectors where they attach to the battery, pretty flimsy. I will probably go back and splice my own better connectors in the near future. Other then that....no complaints.

Review based on motorcycle installation.Pros: small, long cable, SAE compatible, automatic shut off.Cons: installation, short charging port to SAE connectionCable: In my opinion it was a design flaw to have the SAE cable so close to the charging port. The cable is less than a foot making it impossible to use the SAE port if you want to mount it a distance from your SAE plug. Mine is in the far back of my bike so I was forced to connect direct to the battery. For the battery connection they provided the U shaped connection rather than an eye hook/full circle. While it still installs correctly it was just difficult getting at the battery terminal with my bike's wiring plus keeping that wire from sliding out because it just went around the screw rather than the screw fitting through a hole.The cable has plenty of length to work through the bike allowing for the cable to "disappear" form view and also allow preference how to work it.I wasn't very impressed with using a zip tie to secure the device to the handlebar. If I want to reposition or move to a new bike I need to supply a new zip tie.. It does though hold on tightly without movement around the handlebar while riding. USER BEWARE though as with all zip ties be sure were you are mounting because it will be your only shot without securing more zip ties.The automatic shut off appears to be working. When you lift the cover there is a blue light which I do like a lot especially for night so you can plug in your cord without an external light source being applied to find the adapter. I have had it installed on my bike for 2 weeks and no issues with battery draining, although when you place the cap back on it completely covers the device. You can't truly tell if the device is disabled and not drawing power, so we will trust the manufacturer/seller that it truly is switching off with the cap closed.

I like the fast charging feature of this USB adapter, but unfortunately, it left my motorcycle battery dead after using it. It charges quickly, which is great, but I’m concerned about its impact on battery life.While it works well in the short term, I wouldn’t buy it again due to the battery drain issue. If you’re looking for a reliable long-term solution, this might not be the best choice.

It is so nice it is portable and can just hook on my motorcycle

Great addition to bikes, especially older ones. It charges the phone at a good speed, not super fast like a regular charger tho. It’s still standing from getting minor rain wet so it is some what waterproof. And the price is not too expensive so I like it.

Save your money and go buy the original harley davidson for 30$
