Starrett Professional Wide Triangular Stainless Steel Chefs Knives 8-inch (200mm)

I’m not a cook or a butcher but using the same knife for raw and cooked meat, that’s not a fantastic idea, so I purchased a couple of these, red handles and all, for use on raw meats, they are a bit large for home use and a bit “industrial” but hey, that’s what they are made for, as for sharpness, they are pretty darn sharp, can cut a chicken in half without much effort at all, pork no problem, pork rind, easy, but I use the steak knife variation of these knives for that. For the money, I would buy these all day, have 3 now, try one if you aren’t sure, just be conscious of the size and be careful, they are very sharp, for me at least as an average home user.

Really happy with this purchase this is razor sharp straight out the box , decent size good textured grip and seems like really good quality for a good price.

Very good knife for the price. Sure some imperfections visible hire and there but still is worth to buy. Steel seems not the worse, sharpened very course but with little resharping and stropping i think this knife can last a little in regular kitchen

Wry good knife but its not as sharp as expy

Was looking for a good high carbon knife that wouldn't break the bank. There are lots of expensive brands out there but it all boils down to the quality of the metal. These knives have been in production for a long time. There's a reason. Excellent for home and professional use. I've bought about 5 different knives from this range now.

Perfect addition to the kitchen set. Heavy backbone so can take a hit. Used regularly and still sharp. Textured grip is plastic serrated but easy to use. Large profile blade

Doesn't stay sharp

We moved into an apartment (in a new country) and all ourt stuff is on ship coming, well, some day. We have great knives but needed a knife to hold us over- This one is terrific. Cuts everything, does what was expected.

Numa avaliação superficial uma boa faca nada além disto, pelo preço vale a pena tem um bom custo benefício. Preciso de mais tempo de uso para saber se continua boa após o tempo com afiação e tudo mais, por hora cumpre a função.
