Kept me from freezing
I got these blankets when I was camping in my bus and the temperature was expected to drop to 28F . I used them to cover the walls in my sleeping area and along with a 200 watt mini heater, kept me comfortable.

Good survival blankets!
These are your standard, mylar, folds-up-small survival blankets. The sizing is a little funny; they measure 82" by 53". If you wrap one around your shoulders, it'll extend down to about your knees. These DO work really well, surprisingly so, actually. I tested mine in 40 degree F weather, and wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. It was chilly outside. I put the blanket around myself, and INSTANTLY felt warmer, still on the cool side, but actually tolerable. I think I could have tolerated it indefinitely, whereas the ambient temperature would have eventually made me hypothermic.I had a friend try it as well, to be sure it wasn't just subjective. He was also shocked how much warmer he felt.Note: These are factory folded up really small, about the size of an empty billfold or perhaps 3" x 5" x 3/8" thick. They unfold to full size, but good luck folding them back up! Sort of like trying to re-fold a road map, but worse! I managed to get mine re-folded down to about 3X the original size. This is not a fault of the material or the product, it's just a point to be aware of. They can be re-used for quite a while, as mylar is very durable. These are good for warmth, rain collection, reflecting light to signal with, improvised ponchos, windbreaks, etc. Best to get a 6-pack like this and just stash them around.

A Blanket In Every Car!
Emergency blankets always have blown my mind. It's crazy how such a thin piece of material can hold in heat so well. But it does! I've been meaning to get a few emergency blankets so I could put them in my and my wife's cars, and this 6-pack did the trick perfectly! We now have two in each of our cars just in case, one in my wife's purse and one at my place of work. They're super versatile too, so if you needed cover from rain, needed to reflect heat, set up an emergency shelter, or needed to reflect light as an emergency signal, these will do it all. Depending on how long you've had it unfolded or what you've used it for, it's quite easy to fold it back up and pack it back into it's plastic bag too.I haven't used this in an actual emergency situation, so I'm not sure how durable it would be when your life is actually on the line. But none of them had any holes or tears in them when I looked at mine, so as long as you're not purposefully ripping or picking it with sharp objects, it should be pretty good. I highly recommend having an emergency blanket in every vehicle you own for each person that would be in your vehicle. You never know when an emergency is going to happen, it's best to be prepared for when it does happen.

At a little over $1 each, these are cheap insurance
We keep emergency blankets like these in our first-aid kits, go-bags, hiking packs, glove boxes, and kayak safety kits, but we also use them somewhat regularly, so it was time to stock up again. $6.59 is a good deal for these, and they're similar quality to, and only slightly smaller (82" x 52"), than the more expensive ones I usually buy.I can't count the number of times I've used an emergency blanket following a chilly 5k or after getting stuck in a cold rainstorm on a hike. And after use, we hold on to them to get more light power out of our grow lights when getting seedlings started for our garden in the spring. They're also essential gear in the kits we keep in our kayaks--dry bags each filled with an emergency blanket, water filter straw, small first-aid kit, sunblock and lip balm, whistle, kind bar, etc.

Good to have around
Obviously these are in case of emergency and that is what I ordered them for. You get 6 of them, they are all individually wrapped but also all in a carrying bag. I put a couple of these in my emergency car back pack, put a couple in my husbands car and the rest in my home emergency kit. I have no idea if the sizing is accurate to the description as I do not want to unfold one of these to check so I will just have to trust it. I think they are a good deal for the price and something everyone should have in their first aid kit/emergency kit.
