Fortunately I cannot speak from experience, but these seem to be well constructed. An extra dash of protection. Even ‘fire proof’ safes are only moderately effective, and most safes really have no fire resistance. Keep in mind that once a safe’s internal temperature reaches a certain temperature paper will burn, in the presence of oxygen. These may be most effective in that they eliminate the necessary oxygen. These are big enough to easily hold standard letter size papers. I would recommend these, just in case.

perfect size and well made

I needed to store objects from fire and wanted something that will withstand a higher temperature in event of longer storage exposure to fire. Most bags can only withstand the temperature for only so long. These withstand 5200 F so for a typical fire which may be only less than 1000F, this will provide a longer time if exposed. This product is built very well and of high quality. Highly recommend.

A nice little bag, but I doubt it'd be fire or water proof for very long as the zipper has a small opening when closed as all zippers do. Also the extra top flap is secured by Velcro which I would expect to melt in a fire. It will offer a little fire/heat protection. It'd be great inside a safe for a extra protection. That being said it looks okay for the cheap price, you get what you pay for and this is not at all expensive.

This bag appears to be really well made and durable. I like the size, it will hold a couple of passports and a fair amount of cash. I cannot attest to its fire protection capabilities and I hope I never will.

The bag will allow me to keep my important papers secure in the event of a hurricane.

Very sharp looking and higher quality than others I have had. Very easy to use, and seals extremely well.
