i have either a really annoying sprain or permanent defect in my wrist on my thumb side for over 2 months now. it hurts most when i wake up which makes me think is the cause of it in the first place. sleeping on it funny, etc. i never injured it during the day that i can recall any sort of painful incident, just woke up one day and it never went away. This brace is the first that I can keep on for extended periods of time. it does not swell my fingers. I didn't think it would work so well because, as other reviews have said, it is not very tight and you can still move your wrist a good bit. but it didn't take long to appreciate the method to the madness.It is intended for daily life use. therefore i find it very good compared to other braces, i can still do 90% of the things i need to do around the house and at work. and this is when you notice the support the brace does provide. it's subtle but its there. If you're looking for a full blown compression wrap with purple fingers this is the not the brace's intended function. I would not use it for serious injury. i have not slept in it yet but i might give it a try. it is light weight and almost unnoticeable to wear until you have to use the hand it's on. it also stays cool as advertised, it doesn't sweat. the stitching others have said on the thumb is there, but doesn't bother me.fyi - the reason it is not fully compressed is because the straps don't wrap around the entire brace. the buckles are on the pinky side of the wrist, the straps goes under the wrist, and the velcro sticks somewhere on the under side of the wrist or the thumb side, depending on your size, but not all the way around. i think this is why users report a feeling of un-stable or lack of compression, loose-fitting, etc.

Ordered the small,fits perfectly,comfortable and is very supportive!I also wanted to add that the little rubber band thingy is a resistance band.

Easy to use, fits nicely in the beginning, & helps with pain. Loses shape quickly. The straps get twisted in the buckles making a less desirable fit after a month or 2. Gets the job done even when the straps stay twisted.

The fit and feel was very comfortable. I especially liked the area that was bumped up where it kept my fingers very comfortable so I could use it while I’m sleeping.

Too early to tell if this will help but am very hopeful! Feels very comfortable so far. I would like to know how to communicate with the seller and ask what the black rubber band is for. It came in the same box in a separate sleeve, but no info as to what it is for🤔

I slipped and fell while gardening, landing hard on my wrist, (thankful I didn't break it) and had minimal to no movement for a few days. This brace replaced the First Aid splint that I was using. It does a wonderful job. There is full support thanks to the upper AND lower splint support, holding my wrist firmly in place so it can heal. The support in the palm is a comfortable upgrade compared to the tensor-bandage that I was using. It is sturdy enough to use at work, and comfortable to wear when sleeping. I was able to return to work, on a minimal modified work accommodation plan, after a few days of wearing this. The stitching is high quality, the 'Velcro' holds very firmly, and the inner fabric is soft against the skin. Would buy again, if something ever happens to my left wrist.

I use the wrist support for gym workouts. Seems to work well.

This brace does exactly what the description says it does. However, for me, there are a couple of problem areas. First, the microbeads in the little cushioned pouch. I walk with a cane and I'm right-handed. This means I'm constantly bearing down on that little cushion. After a month or two, those microbeads are now just dust in the pouch. Effectively, the pouch is pooched. Second, the piece that keeps you from bending your wrist is curved up into the palm of your hand. That's great if you never have to grab something like a stair rail or a hammer. Not only uncomfortable but keeps you from having a good grip, especially something as large as a handrail. Third, and we'll keep it at that, according to the measurements I should have needed a large brace. I went with a small. I'm a large woman but the small brace is almost too big at the wrist and the thumbhole or part of the brace across the palm is too big. Definitely wasn't aimed at a woman's small hands when it was designed. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do but could really do with some modifications.
