Philips Arbour LED Outdoor Wall Light, 6W, 700 lm, 2,700 K Warm White Light, IP44 Weather-Resistant, Built-in LED, Durable, Aluminium, Anthracite Grey

I bought these lights to replace a pair of wall lights down the side of the house. The old ones were on the blink, with PIR motion sensors and calibration for timings and ambient light, so there seemed to be a number of factors which could be causing the issue. I decided to keep things simple and bought these Philips lights which didn't have all of the fussy sensors etc. I went for these because of the reliable brand, the aesthetic of them, and the fact that they are a similar size to the old ones, so would cover the holes in a rendered wall. I'm really pleased with them. I was worried that they would be too dim, but when I turned the lights on after dusk, they proved to be perfect - bright enough to see what you need to, without being dazzling, or an eyesore to neighbours etc. The instructions were good, and the build quality is great - aluminium housing and a frosted plastic bulb housing. They are not the cheapest outdoor wall lights out there, but I went for a cheaper set first of all, opened the box and found them to be cheap brittle plastic, and decided I wanted something more robust. I also like these because they do not protrude too far from the wall, so if I'm carrying something down the side of the house, I'm not likely to smash into these. All in all, very pleased with these lights - I'll keep my eyes open for more Philips fittings when putting up other lights in future.

Looks good and has a bright light, been in use some months now and no problems

I bought 3 Arbour (non PIR) lights last week when they were on offer and this week I purchased 1 x the PIR version. All 4 lights were to replace old rusting wall lights around the house. Installation was easy. Each installation took no more than 30 mins from starting to remove the old lights to the new Arbour light being ready to use. To be honest it was probably only 1 hours work to install the first 3 and 25mins for this PIR light as it was in a slightly more difficult place. First drill 4 pilot holes in the plastic wall plate and then use these pilot holes to mark the position of the holes you need to drill in the brickwork. I also used a small spirit level to ensure these markers would allow the light to be installed upright! Then proceed to drill holes and affix the light to the wall. Easy peasy. The Anthracite is virtually black and with our black woodwork it does not look out of place. Don't be put off by the lightweight feel of these lights. They look really good and are quite discrete too. Originally we bought cheaper lights at DunElm - as the saying goes 'what a mistaker to make'! - they were a nightmare to put up and once up two didnt work, so they were all returned for a refund. These Philips light look great and if you can get the non PIR for the low £30s and the PIR for the low £40s I can thoroughly recommend them.

Great product and well build. Light is very bright as well. The metal frame is very solid and gives weight to the light however the plastic is a bit light. The one complain I have is that there is no space to store the wire at the back of the light. So you can't really position the light away from where you're wire comes out of the wall. We anyway had a wire in the wall so were kind of stuck.

Overall this light looks good once fitted. But there's a big BUT. Like others in this review, I have also found that is that there is no space to store the wire at the back of the light. So you can't really position the light away from where you're wire comes out of the wall. This makes it very difficult to fit the light snugly to the wall. I'm also very dubious as to the longevity of these units as the back panel is made of a very flimsy / fragile plastic. Given the price of these lights and that they are from a reputable brand (Philips), I would have expected better quality.

These are fantastic lights from Philips, and really look smart on the wall. We bought two of both the motion sensing lights for the front of the house, and two without the motion that we have on a switch at the back. They manage to give out a really nice warm light that isn't harsh as a normal security light would be, however they are bright enough (as a pair) to illuminate our entire driveway. The colour is close to, if not identical to, RAL7016 Anthracite Grey. This was the colour we were trying to match to and it as as good as perfect.

Bought this light for the back garden to over look our hot tub. Came quick, unboxed my Garden light. Now I’m not an election but must admit it was so easy to fit. The longest part of the job was drilling the holes into the wall. Took me 30 minutes. It’s a great unit.

Nachdem unser Bau fertig gestellt war, sollten zwei Lampen an die Tür. Vorgabe war ein vernünftiges Licht, ohne Bewegungsmelder, da dieser gesondert über der Hauseingangstür montiert war. Bei einem langlebigen Leuchtmittel mit geringem Verbrauch kommt man um LED Lampen fast nicht herum. Weil unser Haus hell verputzt wurde, sollte die Lampe anthrazitfarben sein. Die Wandaussenleuchten von Philips sind uns zum ersten Male im Baumarkt aufgefallen. Sie wirken schlicht, stabil und haben eine gute Lichtabstrahlung. Ein punktuelles Licht ist im Haustürbereich suboptimal. Es waren nur nicht genug Lampen vorrätig. Also bei Amazon gesucht und was soll ich sagen. Die Lampen auch noch um einiges preiswerter bekommen. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Verarbeitung und Qualität ist gut. Bedienungsanleitung, und Montagematerial liegen den Lampen bei. Estética limpia, en mi caso lo he instalado en el balcón, da bastante luz, sin ser molesta. La recomiendo por funcionalidad y estética

Les plus: - le design, très épuré, contemporain - la qualité de fabrication. Le réflecteur reste étanche et ne semble pas souffrir des UV (après 2 étés, très exposé) - la blanc chaud (lumière jaune), idéal en terme de rendu - s'adapte facilement (perçage) pour se coupler à un détecteur de mouvement externe Les moins: - puissance moyenne (300LM). Suffisant pour un effet décoratif ou pour éclairer le passage mais pas pour éclairer une table pour manger par ex. - led intégrée, non remplaçable par un non spécialiste et pas possible de choisir sa puissance lumineuse - le prix (entre 20 et 30 euros) est celui d'une marque... En conclusion, un produit beau et de qualité, mais à led intégrée.
