Does this test for safe drinking water ?

This is a TDS meter this measure the electrical conductivity of the water. The higher the level of dissolved minerals in the water, the higher the reading it will provide. A reading of 0 would mean the water does not have any mineral content, a reading of 300 would mean the water has a high mineral content. This meter DOES NOT test for bacteria in the water. IT WILL NOT INDICATE if water is safe to drink, as it does not test for bacteria.
