Violet Leaf Absolute Dilution 10ml. Botanical Name: Viola odorata. Plant Part: Leaves. Violet Leaf is well respected as having relaxing, soothing, and inspiring properties. Violet Leaf generally blends well with other essential oils and is perfect as a fixative. Specific pairings include Tuberose, Oils from the floral family, Clary Sage, Lavender, Benzoin, Cumin, Basil, Oils from the citrus family, Sandalwood, Geranium, and Oils from the spice family. For External Use Only. The dilution is between 5-10% pure Absolute/Essential oil in a base of Organic Grapeseed Oil and Natural Vitamin E Oil. Being quite strong it can be diluted further if necessary and can be used straight on the skin however a patch test is always recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. Supplied in a glass bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap.

Violet leaf oil
Purchased this to use to calm my stressed dog when the air is released out of brakes from train when it arrives in station, & we are sat on platform waiting for train. I will put some violent leaf oil on a cotton wool pad for my dog to sniff, & hopefully it will calm him, better than getting calming drugs from vets.

Don't bother its gone off
It used to smell so good, 5 years ago I used to buy this exact product from this supplier - well these bottles smell like they've been sat there for 5 years. I personally think its gone off. Expensive for a really bad smell.

Synthetic?
The aroma that came out of the bottle when I first opened it was definitely not what I was expecting. I was expecting green notes with maybe a hint of violet if I was lucky. Instead I got a full bodied violet smelling oil. True violet flower oil price is off the wall as it is so expensive to produce so I know I wouldnt be getting that. Disappointed. Then again what did I expect for the price? Hope the Egyptian version is better but Im not risking it. Hope the other oils that I bought from this seller are better.
