UPDATE - device stopped working after a few months and causes power trips on the RPi.Works well natively with Linux and the Raspberry Pi running Raspbian, just plug and play.For caller ID to work in the UK the country code needs to be changed from the US to the UK, with AT command "AT+GCI=B4", minicom or similar can be used to enter this AT command.AT+VCID=1, enables caller ID if it is not already enabled.I am using it for Callattendant to filter spam calls and it works great.

Received quickly, actually has got drivers for WIN10 HOWEVER.........No phone dialer programs can use it. It appears in the "Available Devices" list but when you try to dial out you get "Device busy or not responding"You can query the modem via Device Manager & get a series of AT commands back but none of the Dialers can actually use itEven tried the Dialer.EXE that comes with windows, not a brilliant program but has always worked in the past, even that can't access the modemContacted KALEA-INFORMATIQUE via Amazon but no response so have returned to Amazon for refund

Pris en charge natif sans pilote nécessaire sous Win10 (testé sous 21H1) et Linux (Kernel 4.19) pour l'envoi d'un fax, cela a fonctionné sans souci de la négociation protocole en passant par l'envoi et la réception de fax. Ya solo con pincharlo, windos 10 lo instala transparentemente, si vas a dispositivos veras que aparece Conexant usb CX93010 ACF modem.Otra cosa es que luego sepas creas un grupo de marcacion, configuracion--red e internet--acceso telefonico, o configurar bien el programa que uses.Lleva dos RJ-11 para conectar la linea por un lado y el telefono por otro. No se necesita descolgar el telefono para que funcione, como he leido en algun comentario.Lleva un led rojo que indica alimentacion, y el verde que se enciende cuando esta usando la linea.Funciona perfecto.

Il prodotto corrisponde perfettamente a quanto promesso e funziona alla grande. Avevo qualche perplessità sul funzionamento su linea VOIP del modem fibra , invece è filato tutto liscio (linea Infostrada , modem D-Link DVA-5592).Su Windows 10 non serve utilizzare il cd allegato perché viene riconosciuto immediatamente senza installazione di driver. Al prezzo di pochi euro in più rispetto ad altri modem/fax sempre basati su chipset Conexant venduti su Amazon, questo ha la doppia uscita, telefono e linea , che è di gran comodità. Se non avete troppe esigenze professionali per inviare e ricevere fax (io ho testato solo l'invio perché non ne ricevo) potete usare il programma gratuito fornito da Windows che si chiama "Fax and Scan" che funziona benissimo , vi consiglio solo di usare per gli allegati sempre il formato. pdf che è quello che , almeno a me, non ha dato problemi al contrario di altri (come il .tiff). Spedizione perfetta e nei tempi indicati. In sintesi se non avete da gestire grossi volumi di fax che richiedono sistemi dedicati e professionali questa è un'ottima scelta a poco pezzo.

Ich bin erst im Dezember 2017 kurz vor dem endgültigen Aus des kostenlosen Upgrades von W'indows 7 auf Windows 10 umgestiegen. Leider wollte mein Conexant-Faxmodem USB Windows 7 64 Bit nicht mehr. Einen Treiber habe ich leider nicht gefunden. Eine Download-Homepage des Herstellers gab es einfach nicht. Insofern habe ich mich jetzt für das Kalea Faxmodem entschieden und war überrascht, wie einfach alles bei Windows 10 Home 64 Bit war. Ein geeigneter Treiber wurde vom Betriebssystem automatisch installiert, Windows Fax und Scan sprach das Gerät ebenfalls sofort an und in den Systemeinstellungen (etwas schwer zu finden, vgl. Alle Systemsteuerungselemente) war alles ebenfalls schnell eingetragen/korrigiert. Das einzige Problem war lediglich mein naives Denken, als zunächst von Windows Fax und Scan beim Senden der ersten Telefaxe fortlaufend sinngemäß "unbekannter Fehler aufgetreten, senden abgebrochen"gemeldet wurde. Erst als ich neben der Kabelverbingung Faxmodem zum Providermodem zusätzlich die Basisstation des Schnurlostelefons in die zweite Faxmodem-Buchse einsteckte, also Telefax- und Telefonbetrieb gleichzeitig gesichert war, erst dann gingen die PC-Telefaxe aus den Anwendungen tatsächlich raus. Bin zuwenig Techniker um das zu verstehen. Offenbar muss die Durchschleif-Möglichkeit auch genutzt sein, damit es funktioniert. Eine Anleitung gibt es natürlich nicht, wäre bei dem Preis vermutlich zu viel verlangt. Wie schon in den 90iger Jahren hilft manchmal halt nur ausprobieren bzw. experimentieren und nicht aufgeben.
