I got this and avoided paying the HVAC co $125 service fee. They attach to all 3 vacuum’s I own a rainbow, small and large shop vacs.

I have been looking for an adapter to make my ship vac attachment fit into the hose and have been having a rough time finding one. This one is adjustable, so you just cut it where you need to, and it makes any attachment fit! Wish I new about this sooner!

It works

Plenty of adapters for the variety of small hoses, and one coupler for going from small to a large hose like those on a large shop-vac. The adapters/couplers are new, but arrived dusty for some reason. If you have accumulated a collection of vacuums and need to share accessories between them, this coupler set will do the job - so long as you’re mostly swapping between small diameter hoses.

Not all hoses and attachments from different manufacturers all fit together so these 3 plastic adapters bridge the gap between different vacuums, shop vacs, hand vacs, etc.Double check your measurements to make sure these will fit the specific things you need them to, though. Once you are sure, these will do the job for the diameters mentioned. All of the adapters are made from the same durable black plastic and should pretty much last forever. So get these if this is what you are looking for.Personally, I'd recommend waiting until you can snag some sort of discount on them, though... In all fairness, this price is no different from the big box stores and other online retailers but I don't understand what drives the price so high for what you get.

This vacuum adapter kit is handy to have around. They have a nice finish and will work for most any situation to connect to different hoses or equipment. They look good, but I'm not sure about their durability as they are a little thinner than I'm comfortable with and the plastic looks as though it may be more brittle than an oem adapter. I'll admit that at this time the durability issue is all speculation at this time as I've not had them long. The opinion is strictly from observation and not actual use.At this point, their versatility is a strong selling point and if you need an adapter they will surely come in handy.

It seems like every tool I own has a different size dust port. These adapters may help in certain circumstances, depending on your particular requirements. The 2-1/2 to 1-1/4 adapter works perfectly to adapt my shop vac to my small belt/disk sander, but the two smaller adapters did not work for me. One end does fit into a hose from my small shop vac, but the mating end is just a tiny bit too small for my orbital sander. The sizes are stated clearly in the description so I am not holding that against my review, but I am not certain how many devices the smaller adapters will fit.Overall, these are good simple adapters, but you should check your application to determine if they will work for you.

These are sturdy vacuum hose adapters, but they're unfortunately not as universal as the description implies. The problem is that these are so sturdy and stiff that if your hoses aren't an absolutely perfect fit, they are useless. There is no give at all, so measure really, really carefully.
