Is the egg shape exactly the same formulation as the square one?

All I can tell you is that my wife has never complained about this product & I have been buying this soap for a good few years, both square & the egg shape.

what is the packaging on this item - it's for a present

It came in a Chanel Box completely sealed and when opened the soap, I seem to remember, was also sealed. It was a present for my Mother who was delighted with it.
