Had to have a second and third one after using the first one for a week. I absolutely wanted clear glass so I could see the inside and how clean it is. It’s super easy to wash in the dishwasher and I don’t remove the silicone cover, although I could. It’s easy enough to take on and off--just not necessary. I put the lid on the top shelf or in the utensil basket. I’ve read that some say the tops leak and if you aren’t careful about twisting the cap on, I can see where this could happen. One has to pay attention that the cap is adjusted securely; I’ve had no problems--NONE with these caps adjusted correctly.I’ve also read where some people have had the handle break off of the cap/lid. When the bottle is full, it’s heavy so I’m pretty careful about how I carry it. I can see where that could happen, but I have had no problem. One only has to pay attention to physics.I’ve dropped my bottle twice from chest high onto pavement with no issues. The jar was full so it was heavy and I expected breakage, but it was fine. I spilled my drink, but thankfully it was only water and not 12 year old single malt scotch :).I love my LF and still want another as I have one in the fridge, one in the car, and one that I carry around.

The bottle has a large opening so you can easily add at least two pieces of ice at a time. I sometimes add essential oils to my water and the glass is non reactive with the oils. The design is different which is a fun change; although, I probably would have chosen a different color combination if I had seen it in person. It is easy to clean the cap and interior of bottle. Cleaning the exterior is a little harder. The drink spout is comfortably shaped and seals well. Obviously, this bottle does not keep liquids cold but (since cold beverages can slow the digestive system) I am very pleased with the product.

It’s impossible to line up the lid with the bottle. I was very patient, but water leaked our every time. I owned a Life Factory water bottle purchased from Wholefoods for 3 years and loved it. I was clumsy when washing it and cracked the glass. This is not the same quality and was a very bad buy.

This is the 3rd Lifefactory bottle that I own. I had my own and my children loved mine so much I decided I needed to get one for them! We use it exclusively for homemade Kombucha and occasionally cold teas. We plan on doing a lot of rv travel in the near future and I think that these will "get along" rather well as we travel!
