Installed on a KLR650 motorcycle.
They fit perfect and are well made, no modifications are needed. I installed them myself on a 2015 KLR650. Having a second person to help would have made it a breeze. They came with good instructions.

Tusk is typically decent for the money
They protect my klr very well. I ride dirt mostly and fall not infrequently. These are very protective and have not bent.

Be prepared to take tank, faring, side, covers, racks, skid plate off. Set aside a long afternoon.
Well made. Nice looking. Fits well. Bolts don't look high quality. I plan on reinstalling with grade 8 bolts and putting a bit of neoprene or plastic to insulate against vibration at the lower frame mount near the crank case. The vibration was a bit annoying at high speeds. Then after awhile it just seems like part of the thumper experience. This bike for me is fun but it is a bit like a tractor, useful but not refined.Belch and fart sturdy single that I commute on everyday.

They've got some good weight to them
Really impressed with the quality of these. They've got some good weight to them, and high quality mounting hardware included which bolts to engine mount on front, and subframe in rear. I'm not especially handy, but I was able to install them very easily.Happened to drop the bike shortly after installing (lol) and they did they job perfectly. I also like that they don't protrude too far out on either side, but are still wide enough to shield your leg should something ever come close to the side of your bike. And they look great. I didn't even remove the "tusk" stickers from the side. Proud to rep.

Great protection for my KLR650
These work great. I drop my bike in the dirt all the time, and they seem to protect the fairing and engine case very well.

Bolts break off
The bars are fine, but if you drop the bike, the bolts break-off. Good thing there are a lot of them. Hard to remove once they break.Cheap bolts!

Tusk crash bars
It was a bit of a pain at first, simply because you must remove the gas tank. After the tank was off it was very easy to bolt on and is very study. After a few trail rides I can say I have experienced no vibration increase from it and a very sturdy part.

Very nice crash bars.
I was pleased w/ the quality and as important, FIT! There is quite a bit involved with the installation (videos can be found on line) so it takes a couple of hours to do. It was nothing impossible, but you need to be mechanically inclined. All finish/welds were great and they fit perfectly right off. Appear very stable/strong.
