My husband really likes this BBQ Sauce. He's the only one in the house who will eat it and that's saying a lot because we have a very large, multi-generational family, living in this house. When I asked what he liked about it he said he liked the flavor, the fact that it wasn't so thick it over powered the meat, and the name (of course he would say that).As for the rest of us, the various complaints were it tasting like ketchup, tasting alcohol and things like that. So we have all just decided to leave it for him to enjoy and we will stick with all of our various favorites as well.Bei g that he likes this so much and he is generally a very extremely picky person, I'm going to give it 5 stars. It's not a big deal if the rest of us all dislike something, but I promise you, it's a HUGE deal for him to really like a BBQ Sauce.

Straight out of the bottle by itself this sauce hit me with how sweet it is. Sugar is definitely the forward flavor followed by a smoky spiciness and a little pepper. It tasted pretty good on smoked sausage and onions but my biggest issue with it is how thin it is. It's not runny but it's not smack-the-bottle thick and that's what I like from my bbq sauces. The bottle itself is a little too hard so you can't really squeeze it to help you get the sauce out slowly; maybe a more pliable squeeze-type bottle would work better, that way you can control how much you get. Overall it's tasty, but wouldn't be my go-to.

When they put bourbon in the title of this product they were not kidding. They paired the typical barbecue flavor with bourbon perfectly. It is not real sweet but upholds the barbecue flavor well and has a real strong kick of bourbon. I put this on smoked pork and it was an awesome pairing and totally outside the normal smoked pork barbecue that I normally enjoy. The only knock I have on this is the consistency is a bit thin for my liking.

Great tasting BBQ sauce, the consistency is on the runny side, reminds me of one sauce from Mission BBQ, and the consistency is similar too.I like that it isnt too sweet, it's a great balance of savory and sweet flavor.I do recommend it.

The BBQ sauce arrived with a broken top and unsealed, so unfortunately I wasn't able to try it. It smelled really amazing though.

This BBQ sauce is pretty good depending on your taste. It has catsup in the ingredients so that says a lot for the taste in itself but I know everybody eats bbq different in each state. It's not loaded in sugar like some styles. I personally love all types of bbq so I can bounce around. The issue with me though is the price. I'm hoping this price isn't permanent because it's rare for a sauce to be worth this. I can make my own for cheaper.
