Best shooting sticks on the market
I bought this shooting stick for my boar hunts. So far, I've been successful on every hunt using this stick. The operation of the stick is so easy to use in the field. The trigger releases the legs and is a good hold while you are aiming. The sticks can adjust to any height you need. You can stand or sit if needed. It also rotates if you are tracking a moving animal. It can double as a walking stick if you are in the hills which always sucks. The stick is very lightweight and surprisingly sturdy. If it were just a little less expensive, it would be perfect. But if you want to have a successful hunt, it is still worth the money. If you hunt, you know you don't get too many second shots so just get this stick and make sure you get your animal!

Good rifle rest and spotting scope tripod + trekking pole
I liked that it came with spotting scope and camera mount adapter. Plus the quick release button for switching from rifle rest V to spotting scope is fast and secure. It is a little long at 42" compressed. But, I will try to tie it onto my backpack I have the Primos Trigger Stick mono pod. Worked great for me last year on a Pronghorn at 175 yards. This year, 2019, I used the tripod on white tail hunts to Georgia, Illinois, and on my Coues Deer hunt. It worked great as a solid gun rest. It is also a good solid base for my spotting scope, but it takes a little practice to scan across and vertically. Instructions say "do not use as a trekking pole" which is exactly what I used it for in the rugged superstition mountains. The shooting stick tripod (when legs are strapped together) provides a very stable support while climbing or traversing steep terrain. I could also easily adjust the height I needed by pulling the trigger. This was a life saver when I was climbing up out of a steep canyon - in total darkness - with half a coues deer, rifle, and heavy pack on my back. I shot that coues through the neck at 360 yards across a canyon, using the solid rest provided by the Primos Trigger Stick Gen 3 series tripod. Both my mono-pod and my tripod trigger sticks have held up to all the abuses I can cause in of tough terrain, and horrible weather. These products are the best equipment I've added to my pile in 65 years of hunting experience. Wil Primos and Jim Shockey are the real deals and any product with their name on it - is a product I know I can depend upon.

A must for thermal hunting
I’ve been hunting at night with a thermal scope for the past five years or so. Unlike a day scope, using thermals in the dark requires you to scan repeatedly with the rifle, unless you have a hand-held scanner. Shouldering the rifle repeatedly can get tiring, so most people will use some kind of aid, like a monopod or tripod to help walk, scan and shoot. I recently retired my telescoping monopod which had put in good service. I’d seen the Primos Trigger Stick Gen 3 reviewed by Todd Huey on his Lone Star Boars channel, and decided to give it a try. After hunting with this for the past few weeks I’m very impressed. This thing is so good it makes me wonder how I managed for so long without it. It’s actually lighter than my old monopod. It's much, much steadier either as a monopod or a tripod. The head tracks beautifully. It deploys/adjusts in seconds. The finish is smooth, seems durable and feels like cerakote. I particularly like how the Stick adjusts so easily up or down in almost any type of terrain. You can use it from the sitting or standing position, in a hide or from a shooting chair or whatever. It comes with two heads, one for the shooting yoke (included) and the other as a spare. On my spare I mounted a BOG UltraLite clamping head for when I’m stationary and using the thermal camera app on my phone. The BOG head is a bit heavy for this setup, and the Trigger Stick a bit light; I would not recommend using it this way for walking around or in heavy wind. This device works best with the yoke alone. Bottom line is that so far the Trigger Stick has far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who hunts, day or night.

A very helpful hunting tool.
A helpful tool when hunting/hiking a bunch. Had a tough time with the cost of this trigger stick. Overpriced for sure. But my hope was it would be very helpful for 3 of my kids (that are youth hunters) and it was. Each one harvested their mule deer doe this fall using the tripod trigger stick. We hike around alot in the mountains and are not in a blind or tree stand, so when standing and taking a shot this helped them get a steady aim and a single shot. The tripod legs can be difficult to get spread out fully and properly when on uneven mountainous terrain, but adjusting the height was easy, and one son is 6'2" (taller than me) and it adjusted high enough for him. One other negative was when trying to use the spotting scope attachment it didn't lock in properly and my Vortex spotting scope took a hard hit on the ground(but survived) and it's not to steady in a good wind, there is a lot of shake.

Shooting rest that is quick to set up, solid and versatile for multiple conditions
This is a great product. It saves fumbling around, trying to set your rifle on a backpack or a tree branch. It’s versatile because unlike a bipod If there’s brush you can get over top of it, and you can use it from the sitting kneeling or standing position. I wish I had bought this product sooner. as advertised, it’s very easy to use. You just pull the trigger and it sets up in a second or two. It can be used as a walking stick when you’re not actually shooting.

Very stable shooting sticks that are quick and easy to set up and adjust.
My wife bought this for me for Father's Day. The trigger allows for quick height adjustment and ease of use. So far they have held up very well and seem very durable. Very stable shooting sticks.

Best stick on the web.
I ordered this to replace a mono-pod shooting stick This stick is amazing. It adjusts quickly to the terrain, and is very steady. It also works well as a walking stick during the hunt. I wish I had two it works so good.
