Awesome deal for the price
Overall, a great bargain for a sturdy well made product! All three boxes arrive without any real issue, in the middle of a snowstorm too! (Thank you FedEx!) They break the parts down perfectly so no one box is overly heavy. Assembly was relatively straight forward. Watch the assembly video to have an idea of what you're gonna be doing. We didn't and it made assembly more awkward than it needed to be for me and my kids when we attached the upright posts. You're gonna want at minimum a ratchet and socket set but ideally bring an impact driver. Note - They're not as clear about the actual assembled height. Mostly listed here at 80.7" but only in one spot does it mention it's actually 82.7" tall to the top of the pull up bar, so be sure to factor that in if you have low height clearance like me. The room in my basement where this went, the height varies from 82" - 84" depending on high or low spots on the floor coinciding with ceiling joist settlement/bowing, factor in about half an inch for the floor mats and I was really tight on clearance and in the end I had to position the cage so the pull up bar sat in between ceiling joists. Which for me wasn't an issue because I knew I wouldn't have the height clearance to do pull/chin ups regardless but something to keep in mind if you have height clearance issues like me. If you're getting the lat pull down attachment be aware that while it only adds about an additional 10 inches to the depth of the cage you need to give it much more clearance than that in order to fit a full 45 lbs plate on the lat pull down plate carrier. The assembly instructions were decent, take your time on the pulley and cable assembly as the instructions are accurate but not obvious. I've always been that guy that can just look at assembly instructions briefly and know what to do but I had to slow down for the pulley and cable section. You def need to take a little more time on those couple of pages. It's not hard, not really complicated either but you just need to take a moment to make sure you understand the path of the cable the pulley layout. Once you digest that, it's straightforward. Once assembled, it's pretty sturdy. It's more than enough for my needs, I paired it with a 300 lbs Olympic weight set from Dick's which this cage can handle without breaking a sweat. If you're a big power lifter though your mileage may vary. The lat pull down attachment works really well, I was worried about the action not being smooth or awkward or jank or all of the above but it's not. We'll see how it holds up over time. Hopefully Ultra Fuego sells replacement cables/pulleys as the engineer in me always sees moving parts as potential future failure points. Overall, me and my kids couldn't be happier with this. Will update if anything changes but for now, totally worth it and would recommend and would buy again if needed to!

Great quality for the price
I had been on the fence about building a home gym for a while, and this summer of 2023 I finally decided to take the plunge. To me, the core of any good gym is a high quality power cage, and after much research, this power cage turned out to be it for me for the following reasons: Size: this power cage is compact without sacrificing quality and design. The power cage doesn't take up a lot of space in my garage, yet it serves me to do pretty much everything I was doing iny former gym. Weight: this power cage is solid. Once it was fully assembled and in its place, it has remained solidly in place with no wobble, and without me having to screw it into the floor. However, I am still able to move it around with a bit of effort when I'm cleaning The area where it is. Durability: the power cage seems solid enough. One thing I did notice when I was assembling the top portion of the power cage is that the metal started bending when I tried putting the screws tight, so I had to make sure to not tighten too much the bars and pieces of metal to keep the steel from bending. However, this has not seemed to affect my workouts. Assembly: this was a pain to assemble. The assembly itself is not that hard, but it does take a while to complete the assembly. It took me several sessions to assemble, but if I were to add up all the time, I would say to be ready to spend 4-6 hours working on this, but to be fair, I was taking my time and enjoying a beer each time I took turn รฑs to continue the assembly. Overall I am impressed with the price vs quality ratio. For a power cage that does 90% of what I was doing at my former gym, I can say that my money has been well-spent and has been more of an investment than a purchase. Only time will tell, but as of right now, I have a feeling that this power cage will last for years of regular, nearly every day heavy use.

Good Home Gym Rack, Weak J-Hooks
For $250, this power cage is a good buy, but it's not a commercial-grade rack. The depth inside is very narrow. The J-hooks that come with it are really weak, only rated to 225 pounds. When benching over 225 pounds, I switch to pin presses, and since I do paused Larsen presses, it isn't a huge setback until I replace the J-hooks. I also use the J-hooks for shoulder press sets at 225 pounds, and they work, but they are still a limiting factor. I don't know how much the included J-hooks can safely handle past their rating, and I'm not interested in finding out. It only comes with one carabiner for the cable attachments, which is a bit of a pain when swapping between them. Keep in mind I haven't bolted the rack down, and the rack itself is easy to wobble, but it has not been an issue during my presses. The rack uses 2x2 steel with 1-inch holes spaced 4 inches apart. The cable pulley system is pretty good for the price. The pull-up bar is solid, the landmine attachment works well, the resistance band pegs are okay and work fine, and the safety bars do their job. One tip: put a little silicone lubricant on the guide rods. If you don't, the weight stack doesn't drop as smoothly and can hang up a bit. Another tip: use an impact driver during assembly to speed things up, but don't go crazy with the torque. Take your time so you don't strip bolts or damage the hardware. I was able to put it together in around 2 hours. The feel will never emulate a commercial gym, but it absolutely gets the job done. If you're serious about training, you'll eventually want to upgrade to a mid-tier rack, but for around $250, plus roughly $50 for better J-hooks and $10 for extra carabiners, I think itโs hard to beat.

Used by a powerlifter(very impressed)
For the record, I bench over 400lbs and squat well over 600. I am writing this review so people can determine if this is safe enough for them. This is not a high end rack but it definitely is a great value for beginners and intermediate lifters. I recommend finding proper sized j-hooks that are higher quality (that is only downside of this rack) I am writing this after assembly and testing. I loaded up a 495lb barbell on the rack while using aftermarket j hooks I purchased separately. And did a set. On the final rep I purposely failed and let the bar fall on the safety pins. Everything held up impressively well. As for the pulley system, I loaded up 185 on the pins(4 plates). And repped it out with the different attachments just to mess around. If you buy the power rack + the pulley system(which I recommend you do) the boxes for the rack and the box for the pulley system will ship with different tracking numbers. They will arrive at different times. This freaked me out at first because I thought I got screwed out of my money. Misunderstanding..... Anyway, assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. Hardware was strong. You might not have such an easy time if you are not inclined with a wrench so get help from someone who is. The only tools of your own that you will need are a 5/8ths Socket or wrench. I used a Socket on an impact gun and that helped me get the rack together in an hour. Pulley system will take another hour. Will take longer if a ratchet or a spanner wrench is used. Things to take note of when assembling: -make sure you do not over Tighten bolts (They are good strength but it's always possible) -MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY TENSION PULLEYS ON FLOATING ASSEMBALLY (You will immediately break your pulley) ^^Not a quality issue, just negligence of buyer -the longer pulley cable goes on top, shorter on bottom. -verify that standing supports are in correct orientation, it is easy to mix them up and you will have a horrible time fixing it when it's too late. Ask me how I know. -put all pulleys in before cord then when it is time to put the cord in you can take bolts out one at a time (do not fully Tighten until finished) -bolt into the ground if you can -when finished assembling apply wd-40 to all moving parts, pulleys and along both pulley wires. Conclusion: Rack is very strong, good quality and good for Lifters that are not in the 1000lb club yet. Great deal for the money. I am honestly impressed. I was so anxious reading the reviews. If anything changes and I have anything break I will be updating this review. But for now, it is a 5 star for sure from me.

82" tall. I love this power cage
I wanted a small Power cage for our home gym that I could use when the gym I go to is too busy. The ceilings in our basement are shy of 8' so i really hoped this would be 80" as listed but it was 82". Not a big deal but my head his the ceiling doing pull-ups if I am not Mindful. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something, being uncertain of how often I would use it, but after months of deliberating and getting annoyed at not being able to get my workouts done in a reasonable amount of time because of the busy gym, and Amazon having a really good deal I hit purchase. And I am so glad I did. My 2 hour workouts are down 30 minutes and I save on driving time. There was a bit of a delay with the delivery due to one box missing a part but I contacted support via Amazon (don't go through their email I never got a response) and was contacted within 15 minutes wherein they resolved the issue and sent me the new part which I received within 48 hours. So while my initial reaction was disappointment the fact that they really fixed fast made get over it quickly. It only took me 90 minutes to put together and didn't feel the instructions were that bad but if you don't have experience building anything it might take you longer... and you might get annoyed. I can't express enough how deeply I love this thing. I can get almost my entire workout done (save for a few excercises I had to change to hit the muscle groups) on this machine. I had to buy a machine lubricant for tracks, to make the cable track slide easier. I chose a eco-friendly/ non- toxic one that works excellently. A 4x6 stable mat works great but i think buying two be would be better. I also use hanging straps for abs, trx straps, an 8' barbell, and bought some upgraded ankle straps. This cage is very sturdy and my teenage sons love it as well. If you have the space, workout regularly and aren't lifting over 400lbs this is a great deal.

Value is Unmatched
For the value, this is one of the most impressive items I've purchased from Amazon. You're getting a great power cage that's meant for low to medium weight lifters, but it's definitely not suited for power lifters. Two things I will point out: I did not receive a tricep rope attachment (not a big deal), so there's some variability in the accessories you can receive. The other thing is the weight plate holders on the sides have started to dip on mine with less than 100lbs on each, so the 132lb weight capacity is a little bit of a stretch. Still, for the money it is solid! 2x2 steel makes it sturdy and stable and there's no safety concerns on my end. One thing I will recommend is replacing the flat barbell holder with J-cups, as they will be better for racking. Still highly recommended!

Amazing price for a beginner to intermediate lifter
This rack has been a game-changer for me, allowing me so much versatility in my home gym. Assembly was easy, and it took 3-4 hours to get the rack, and the lat pulldown dialed with a socket wrench. It's a two-person job, but in a pinch and with some extra time, you could do it by yourself. Once assembled, it has a compact size perfect for a garage, but it's still big enough to get the job done. Despite the 2x2-inch construction and the relatively high-gauge steel, the rack manages to be very sturdy. The only time I've seen it even slightly wobble was when I roughly dropped a loaded barbell heavily into the j-hooks. Although I have not bolted the rack to the floor (a possibility), even on weighted pullups, the rack doesn't really shake or shift. The lat pulldown works perfectly and it comes with all sorts of useful attachments. Some people have complained about the J-hooks, but I haven't really had a problem with them. They look more like miniature spotter arms that allow you to place a bar away from the back uprights and, thus, away from the lat pulldown wires. Without the J-hooks extending out into the rack, the back of the rack and wires would prevent you from setting a bench in a position where you could be almost directly under the bar. Yes, the J-hooks are a little loose on the rack, have a weight limit of 220 lbs, and the rubber pads that protect the hooks are cheaply made, but it is absolutely not a deal breaker. I did eventually get some more traditional J-hooks that don't stick out into the rack space, though I still use the original blue J-hooks when doing incline bench. After testing four bargain, aftermarket J-hooks, these were the best: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1G53YZ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 The only problem that I really have with this rack is that it's so good that I've been doing a lot more lifting and have now begun to daydream about upgrading to something wildly more expensive. If I were to improve upon this rack, I would place the holes closer together. At times, I'm setting up the bar, and it's either a little too near or too far from the floor/bench to be optimal. The landmine attachment is great if you're lifting it straight up and down, but its attachment point to the rack doesn't allow it to move quite as nicely laterally. Lastly, my dip bars were very slightly bent (almost imperceptible except to me, but I can't not see it!). You can't expect commercial-grade equipment at this price, however, this rack is solid, versatile, and still a steal for the money.
