Solid piece of equipment.
Great product. Comes unassembled. The sparse written assembly instructions come with explicit EASY-to-understand diagrams of the assembly process. The necessary screws, nuts, etc are prepackaged individually in plastic bags with a letter identifying them and associated with the letters on the diagrams. Brilliant. Also, all necessary Allen wrenches and one standard wrench are provided. One person can put it together in about 40-45 minutes. Again, once assembled it is a solid piece of office or lecture equipment. Easily adjustable height for stand-up office work or making presentations. Caster wheels work smoothly, and have individual brakes to lock in place. Very impressed.

Well made
This is VERY WELL made “old world quality -no visible shortcuts” made item. It takes a little time and patience to put it together. I’d rate instruction A-. Once done you’ve got a sturdy, versatile adjustable stand. One more important benefit: very few such stands are made above 43 inches. I am 6 feet and that height makes me constantly slouching. This item can be adjusted as tall as 49.

Nice Product
Very sturdy unit, took about an hour to assemble. Please with the unit, only problem. The cover for the back of the bottom legs comes off inch and 1/2 x 1“ piece covering a hole. I had to tape it on.

Sturdy, functional, great-looking desk.
As other reviewers have noted, the instructions for this unit could be better. But I had no trouble assembling it on my own and it came with extras for the various screws, etc. which is always welcome.I was impressed at how heavy and sturdy this is. (It's pretty much all-metal construction, except for the plastic wheels and the plastic base cover. I feel confident keeping my laptop on it, but I've also been leaning on it to make hand-written notes and it's not budging.I appreciated the clean aesthetics of this unit. Subtle logos and a black plastic cover to hide the bolts (this will also aid with dusting.I have an old-fashioned-looking office and I don't generally let anything modern-looking through the door, but this is a neutral-enough design that I can overlook it.It's a great addition to have beneath my bulletin board where I can stand and move notecards around, while pausing to write on the surface. As others have noted, this is not a good choice for portabiity—for taking to speech venues, etc. But it's great for moving around a room or keeping in a stable position. All-in-all, this was a terrific addition to my home office.

I put it together myself!
This is sturdy and works great for getting me close enough to see my screen.

Built like a tank!
My use case:I got my lectern to set my mouse and keyboard since I use an ergotron wall mounted arm thing to hold my monitor and Mac mini but the keyboard platform made me be too close to the monitor causing eye strain.Assembly:The assembly instructions weren’t terrible save for step 5-3 which is confusing but it just requires some common sense to overcome. Simply screw in the little “grub screw” with the provided Allen key.Material:The steel used is crazy heavy duty so don’t expect thin foldable steel - none of it will bend without a machine doing the folding.Height:I’m 5’11” and like i said i use it to hold my keyboard and mouse and i have the height fixed at 42” as seen in the picture. Consider also that I stand on a 4” foam pad to minimize strain.Second shelf:At first I didn’t care for the second shelf but it’s actually pretty cool for placing a book, phone or a drink.Overall incredibly grateful to have this lectern!!

need better quality control
company needs better quality control. two holes were not threaded and when trying to thread discovered they were smaller diameter than should be. Missing correct allen wrench.
