Surprisingly good.
For the price I didn't have high expectations. I just need a cheap set of lights for some video projects.Very surprised with these when they arrived.Light boxes are large, easy to build, easy to fit bulbs and they can be very very bright!Stands are light and I wouldn't use them outdoors - even with the supplied sandbags. As they only run from mains, though, you're unlikely to be doing anything other than indoor work.Remote control is great and makes for easy adjustment of lights both temperature and brightness and the lightbox has a kind of leathery feel and thickness that adds a little quality feel.I have to build and dismantle this kit on each use so I fill the bulb boxes with bubble wrap for extra protection.Overall, though, a very nice budget kit that belies its price.EDIT: One thing I haven't yet figured out is how to control individual lights via remote. each bulb has its own remote but, when i try to adjust one light to be a fill (so a little less brightness, both lights change.Has anyone worked this out yet?

Seems ok but one of the bulbs is defective
I'm happy enough with the lights but one of the bulbs only does the cold coloured light (where as the other bulb does both a warm and cold version also). I thought it might be because I needed to put battery's in the remote controls, but I finally got around to trying that and it still didn't work. I'm not sure how easy it is to get a replacement bulb.

Nice bright light
Softboxes are good for photography, but the stands aren't the most substantial.The ability to adjust both the colour temperature and brightness is great, but the remote needs to be close to the light if adjustment of only one light is required.

Poorly designed
Disappointed as some items missingDidn’t realise till I actually got a professional to set it up for a shoot., the bulbs do not screw in properly and the cap can easily get stuck in the casing. Wouldn’t recommend or buy this kit again
