I mean this tool is kind of a waste using a specific brand of keystone. . . But it works, is very fast, reliable and easy. I imagine if you were using this tool for regular installs of dozens or hundreds of keystones it would add up spending 1.5x more on connectors vs builder grade ones. But for a home install you will not even notice. Even if you are doing hundreds. . . your time and the low failure rate because it is so easy will still probably make it worth it. As a home user. . . I didn't need this tool. Let's be honest it will be yet another specialty tool in my garage that will collect dust for 10 years until a family member or friend needs help with a project, and I will pull out just the right tool for the job and save the day. You know. . . every white-middle-class New Balance with white socks 40+ year old man's hero fantasy.
