Beautiful, functional jars. The lids fit perfectly and I love the muslin and rubberband were included. Perfect for brewing up some kombucha, which turned out great by the way. Easy to clean and durable. I'm sure you can't drop them or anything, but it's a nice heavy glass that should last for years. Thank you!!

I bought these jars for making kimchi, and they’re perfect! Before, the kimchi I made at home would cause odors in my refrigerator. Now that I have these jars, I was able to make a huge batch of water radish kimchi and when I open the fridge, there is no odor at all. The glass is thin, but sturdy, and they seal completely when closed. I definitely recommend them for anyone who makes fermented foods and wants to keep their fridge and home odor-free.

Initially, I was looking for a large "Ball Mason Jar" to use as a Vase,and I just so happened to stumble on these! What a pleasant surprise and wonderful purchase!!!!The jars arrived ON TIME and was VERY securely packaged. I unboxed the jars and both came with a square of cloth, a rubberband, and a lid. I'm guessing in case you want to venture into making Kombucha or something along those lines. I on the other hand used these as a Vase to go along with the current decor in my apartment and I....am.... LOVING IT!I wasn't quite sure what to expect fully with the size of these jars, but this purchase fit EXACTLY what I needed...and more so, it was pleasantly AFFORDABLE. If I would have went with my other choice, it definitely would have been more expensive. Two large jars for $20...you can't beat that!I'm tempted to buy another two! Hmm...maybe I will! I'm definitely happy with this purchase!

I got these to make a new batch of kombucha, and they work wonderfully! They came with a nice square of Muslim cloth and a big rubber band inside each, and were packaged nicely. When filled to the rim, they hold two cups over a gallon, and the lid is airtight. Super easy to sterilize and when I’m not using them to brew my boyfriends vinegar swill (haha, very funny), they’ll sit on the kitchen cabinet tops as decorations. They have so many potential uses too! Definitely will order more in the future!

Made pineapple wine this summer and other fruit punches towards the holidays. Looked everywhere for glass. Some stores sell them but single and at a higher price. Most stores sell just plastic with spout. Plastic will swell during prolonged fermentation and the lid could pop off or open. The spout could also leak under pressure.These two jars have an extra strong airtight lid and a rubber band to hold the Muslin cloth for draining, what store products have not.The top opening is very large and therefore easy to sponge clean and wipe dry. I have seen a variety of jars with ill fitting metal or plastic lids. These are sturdy and will last.

I can tell these jars are a good value. Their lids/mouths are NOT wide-mouth like a Mason jar - these are much wider. That was disappointing, as I had specific airlocks for wide-mouth Mason jars.In any case, I ordered these, and both were shattered to pieces in the first shipment. I didn’t even bother to open the box because I could hear the pieces falling everywhere. The shipping box was fine, though... so that was strange. Amazon promptly shipped a replacement order, but one jar was broken. So, while the jars were not what I expected they are still very nice jars. However, I can’t speak to how durable they truly are since both shipments have had broken jars. I also can’t say that it was Amazon’s faulty shipping since both boxes looked fine from the outside.

The media could not be loaded. I use one jar as clean water and the other as duty water. It’s really working Well so I’m happy with it.

These are heavy duty jars and great for making Apple cider vinegar. They came with lids, cheesecloth and rubber bands for making cider or other ferments. They are easy to clean and go in the dishwasher as well for sterilization if your washer has that cycle. They came quickly and packed safely. Arrived in great shape with no cracks, breaks or chips. A great product for the cost and I will definitely buy from them again.
