ColumbiaWomen's Powder Lite Pant

Got an XL (5' 9", 165, big butt, small waist) and I just seemed to swim in them, waist was HUGE! Got a L and they are way smaller in both waist and hip. Seriously too small at hips and waist was even a bit snug. Keeping the XL and just taking up the waist. That said, the pant is super comfy for just hanging out (I live at a ski resort in Colorado), going to the post office, market, shovelling snow, winter hiking, wearing apres ski (I don't think they would make very good downhill ski pants) and maybe even for xc skiing (will have to try them out). They will probably be great for camping, too. Comfy enough to sleep in maybe for winter camping? VERY warm. Cool elastic cord at pant hem. Wide stretch fabric waist. Quality item. See my photos for size comparision.3/17/23 UPDATE - wore these to classic XC ski on a cold and snowy day. They were great! Even sat down in the snow for a hot chocolate break and stayed warm and dry. Even if I don't wear them to ski, I'll stuff them in my pack as an add on layer/for snowy picnics. Also, you aren't going to sneak up on anyone. These "swish swish" when you are walking/classic XC skiing!

No regrets! I’m obsessed. I sized up for more moving around room & to layer under.
